G'raha Tia sunk to the ground tiredly at the base of the Tower and looked out at what they called a city. The remnants of Mor Dhona pushed closer to the lake, scrap and wreckage turned into makeshift shacks and homes pressed up between the Tower and the Keeper of the Lake. It didnβt feel like much of a city at all, but G'raha knew better than to speak those words aloud. Nothing in this world was how he remembered it to be, nothing looked as he may have expected it to look. And so, since heβd been woken up into this world and told of the death and destruction of the land he once knew, he kept his mouth shut and did not dare speak most things aloud. The whole landscape had changed with the Calamity and the Black Rose nearly two centuries ago.
Two centuries.
