Gideon would make such a good greaser. A black leather jacket, a motorcycle instead of her sword…. Harrow absolutely fuming that she finds Gideon attractive while Gideon is obsessively combing her hair and flexing her muscles in the reflection of her motorcycle mirror. 
Oh my gosh how about a The Outsiders/Locked Tomb crossover! But then I'd have to reread The Outsiders and have flashbacks to high school English.

It's like, what if you were consumed by the grief of losing the person you were closest to and you actually had the power to bring them back but it came at the cost of your body and soul. They're now a part of you and you can never be just you again. And it's worth it to you because you couldn't conceive of going on without them. But you've also been training since childhood to be their partner and body guard and never really got the chance to have an identity outside of that relationship. And they don't want to consume you, they're aware of how much they're taking from you and it's tearing them up. But you give it willingly and they take it because they also can't imagine leaving you.
Is it a tragedy if you give your life away freely and gladly? Was it really freely given if your life never really belonged to you in the first place? Love and freedom don't coexist, not with this kind of love at least.
It does make me think about a world were Camilla isn't able to bring Palamades back. She can't get his bones or she never meets up with Harrow or he just isn't able to form his river bubble. What would "Camilla Hect, the independent entity, free to live her life outside the shadow of her necromancer" look like? Who could she have been if she wasn't able to chose love over freedom? We'll never know and Cam doesn't regret that at all, but maybe I do. I'll raise a glass with Pyrrha to another of devotion’s casualties.

Gideon and Harrow

explaining Nona-era Griddlehark is like. Yeah they haven’t made out yet, on account of Gideon being dead and stuck behind Harrow’s brain for nine months and Harrow astral projecting for six consecutive months after that. Well except for that one time when Harrow’s body kissed Gideon on the mouth, but that doesn’t really count because her body (not to be confused with The Body) was being possessed by a six month old amnesiac version of The Body (that is, the Girl in the Tomb but not the girl currently in the tomb, who is Harrow), who as you may remember is the third corner of the core Harrow love quadrangle. Except that’s kind of a simplification because it’s implied that the amnesiac soul in Harrow’s body is at least a little bit part-Harrow and part-Gideon. And she only kissed Gideon because she thought Gideon looked sad, she actually thinks redheads are very unattractive.
That about sums it up.
