now it’s common knowledge a lot of loose threads need to be tied in in alecto but one that tends to get glazed over in discussions is this one from ntn
who is aegis? why were they specifically wakes source and not in contact with ctesiphon wing like the other lyctors were? it can’t be g1deon or pyrhha because she wouldve mentioned it, so who is it?
my initial guess was aiglamene, and if you assume she lied about her history in the cohort and was indentured to the ninth much like gideon was then it maybe makes some sense, but it seems quite far fetched…so who else could it be?
