In canon verse or in like an au?

Because in canon verse I imagine... awkward. I doubt Emily has ever thought about making out with a screen. And while she doesn't strike me as the type to be judgmental of how Vox appears, it's the logistics of everything that would likely confuse her.

As for Vox himself, I personally like to imagine that he turns right back into blushy box head around her. All his attempts to be cool and suave backfire spectacularly when he's actively trying and Emily just finds it endearing so his ego doesn't sting quite so bad but still it's already nerve wracking because he's all about optics and the first kiss has to be perfect.

He gets the whole thing set up, flowers and candles and the best food and wine money can buy and string quartets and the whole nine yards. Finally, he gets to the moment, they both know they wanna kiss, but then he accidentally discharges a small amount of electricity and she gets a mild shock. Second attempt, someone blows a hole in the wall and Vox nearly goes full demon mode because come ON. The third attempt has him the most nervous because they both know they want it but she's so soft and gentle and he hasn't had to be any of that in a long, long time. It doesn't escape him just how easily his claws could tear into her even if he couldn't really harm her but she's looking at him and he wonders if he's the one being hypnotized for once. And they lean in, and he feels the heat of her breath, and it's so close and then...

She misses.

Emily's nose might not be visible but she can wear glasses so she's definitely got one and it changes the angle she has to use when she leans in and instead of his actual lips she's just kissing his screen and it's not like Emily herself would be able to tell. But she's still *kissing* him and he's just so struck by the fact that she knows everything about him, every sin he's ever committed, every atrocity, every drop of blood on his hands and she still WANTS to be with him. This literal fucking angel wants HIM. And he can't react. Eventually she pulls back and he just stares at her for a moment while she asks with nervous silence if it was any good. Then he smiles way too softly for someone with so many teeth and says,

"You missed,"

Cooper is captured (insert reason here) but rather than being executed is left tied up in a chair somewhere in the compound so Lucy and Dogmeat have to mount a rescue operation where Lucy eventually gets to him and he's like "oh good now fucking untie me" and at first Lucy goes to do that but the she realizes holy crap he's tied up and at HER mercy and when is she really going to get a chance like this again so she takes full advantage to tease the ever loving shit out of him covered in blood and smelling like gunsmoke and Coop is torn between being pissed off she's doing this to him and being happy she's *doing this to him* and it feels good but this is also neither the time nor the place really and one might think Lucy would be put off by the location but no she's a freaky little vaultie and being his vaultie has only made her freakier so she doesn't stop teasing him while she's sitting in his lap and the worst part is that it isn't even just the usual teasing it's her being tender and pampering him with affection which his self loathing usually won't allow for her to do so she's taking her sweet time dragging her mouth over every part of his face and saying without words how much she adores him and it's an exquisite torture and cooper is now starting to think all those studies were bullshit because this would make him spill EVERYTHING but he doesn't have to because it's his vaultie and even if she doesn't always understand she respects him enough to have learned when and when not to press so he just has to sit and suffer until he gets pissed enough to break the ropes or Lucy shows him mercy because of COURSE she confiscated his knife (not that he'd ever admit how hot the idea of her wielding his own knife against him in any capacity is)

Does this mean anything?? Foreshadowing Alastor getting more of a soft spot towards Charlie maybe??? merch isn't canon material so we can't take it's content too seriously but I'm still hoping

Nonny I am so sorry this took me over 2 weeks to respond to. Real life has been hectic af. That being said:

OMG THEY ARE IN MATCHING OUTFITS!!! Like, I know technically vaggie's outfit goes with it but imo not really? Idk, truth be told I'm getting sick of being told I HAVE to accept them as a package deal when I can still get separate blitz and stolas merch, or Moxxie and Millie merch and they're an established long term couple. That's off topic though.

I really do think that a lot of the merch is informed to some degree by canon though and should be taken as what we call "Second degree canon" which is "essentially canon until something in the canon media refutes it". I definitely think Charlie is Alastor's weak spot, and the audience isn't the only one.

It's a very serious nitpick from several characters on why Alastor sticks by Charlie. And yes, now we know that Alastor originally came under Rosie's orders, whatever they were. But even with that in mind... Alastor just had to be there, had to provide basic help. The level to which he committed to the bit is far more than someone of his ego would be able to stand if he didn't actually give a shit. I think he does care about Charlie, and if we actually remember Lucifer's coaster comment was just the final straw. The bit that really got under Alastor's skin was the insinuation that he ran when Charlie needed him most, that he couldn't protect or defend her. THAT is what made Alastor quit the hotel.
