Aww, no problem!

While Charlastor is still my otp I adore the sort of rivalry dynamic statichalo does to play off it. Like, Alastor and Vox's weird rivalry whatever continues to everything they do, and that includes their wives. Meanwhile Charlie and Emily are just standing there finding it both frustrating and kind of amusing (at least until property damage is involved)

The other aspect of it is that it unintentionally plays into the question Vox asked of Charlie in season 2: do you think I could be redeemed? Emily could be seen as a representation not of his redemption but his salvation. Where Alastor sort of mirrored Vox's own darkness and in turn dismissed his feelings out of hand (no matter what Viv says my interpretation is that even if Vox was being honest about his feelings he was still using his cult persona tactics. And Alastor could see that even if there was emotion, Vox was still using him in a way) an obsession with Emily would force him to truly take a look at himself. I don't think Emily would Fall for him in the same way Lucifer and Lilith fell. But I do think she would make a conscious choice to remain in Hell so long as he was there. Likewise, I think that should Emily be taken from him Vox would willingly burn it all down just to get her back. Destructive energy channeled for a slightly better cause, if that makes sense.

What kinda headcannons we talking here? Sweet or spicy? I'll do both.

Sweet:

Vox and Emily share a deep love of ocean life and their dates usually end up at the aquarium

Vox invented sharkweek and Emily celebrates with him every year

Vox has FOR SURE done the Thomas O'Malley, "Your eyes really are like sapphires" and immediately hates himself after it slips out. Emily thinks it's adorable and sweet

Emily will purposefully ask questions about things she knows Vox is passionate about even if she has no knowledge and little interest because she loves hearing him infodump. And vice versa

They enjoy watching rom-coms together

He takes her to Dante's Inferno for their anniversary each year

One year she took him to the corresponding Heaven restaurant Dante's Paradiso

They both love seafood

Emily adores when he plays the piano

Before they were really public with their relationship Voxtech employees would still refer to her as "Madame President", Vox only found out about this because Ethan slipped one time and asked if he'd cleared a decision with Emily using that nickname before going ahead with it.

Oooh... no? Not pre existing ones anyways. Let me think on it. This is probably going to turn into a list of pregnancy-to-parenthood hcs though.

Vox was always torn between wanting kids and not wanting them; I think he's narcissistic enough to have wanted them but as a human likely would have seen them as ticking off a box, some societal expectation that even in a cult needed to be met

To that end I think he spends most of the pregnancy playing cool and confident but internally freaking out. He's not ready to be a dad, he's a media mogul from an era where it was acceptable to take a belt to a brat's backside and there's no way Emily would allow that

On the flip side; he's also smug and happy about it because sinners aren't supposed to have children. He defied a law of nature and knocked up a seraphim, how's that for power?

Emily definitely takes to the nurturing role far easier than her husband, her purpose is to spread joy and what could be more joyful than bringing light into the world

They definitely have more than one kid at a go, whether we're doing the natural route or not. Then again, heaven's full of celestial birds, maybe Emily lays eggs. Either way, multiple kids from a single process, probably twins to start?

Personally, I like to think that at least one of their kids has some type of disability, not as a punishment to the kid, but it would be fun to have to see Vox -a man who branded and sells himself on perfection- to have a kid that wouldn't fit that bill. Blindness might be a fun one to work through since he's a visuals based demon?

Because she is from Heaven Emily accepts that no being is made with "flaws" they are each created exactly as intended, her children are always perfect to her and she loves them unconditionally

On that note, however, Vox is definitely the more indulgent of the two parents. The kids go to their father when they want something because he's more likely to say yes. Emily is very much the one who sets boundaries and rules in place

Sometimes Vox allows the kids to do something stupid that he knows will get them in trouble because he finds Emily going stern mother mode hot

Not only has Emily pegged Vox but Vox was the one who begged her to do it in the first place

I am so sorry I don't answer these in a timely manner, but just because I don't write out a response please understand I am still rotating these ideas around in my brain like a microwave.

The peacocking is peacocking, there's just no denying it. You're telling me the man used the term omega with giant ass wings and given that Viv is a furry/furry adjacent she wouldn't be aware of the connotations? I call bullshit.

This is a man subtly saying "Hey look! Prime partner material right here!" Well, I mean as subtly as a brick to the face is.

He's a showman, loves the spotlight, wants everyone to adore him. But to have a heavenly being in his corner? To have her corrupted because of a kind and loving heart? The very conception is just delicious. Also, I think Val might be rubbing off on him in that aspect of "I will fuck anyone once"

As for Emily, well most of Heaven is bird based, therefore it does make sense that even if Vox hadn't intended it Emily would see it as a gesture of courting. Now THERE'S a fic idea:

Emily sees the wings and while she's horrified at the implications there is a part of her that is intrigued by the notion of this demon trying to show off to her. The singing, the wings, the presentation all speaks to her personality more than anyone else's. And Sera's own protective stance is likely a factor too. Was it love at first sight? Does he just think she's a tool or a trophy? If she married him... would that protect Heaven? Imagine the rest of season 2 progresses except for the fact that Emily is reciprocating his courting gestures and Vox has absolutely no idea until she comes right out and says,

"Alright, let's set a date,"

"A date? For what?"

Maybe it was a bit? Like, Vox is a foil to Alastor and Emily's a parallel to Charlie. It would make sense they share some similarities in design the same way Alastor and Charlie share similarities in their designs like the almost entirely red color palette, cloven feet and tendency to show their anger in their eyes first.

Loved their dynamic, loved the setting, they felt organic and true to their show counterparts. Very much love the sprinkle of Charlastor in it☺️ added to the flavor of an already amazing fic

It's cute Charlie and Emily were cousins, makes sense they're related because they have the same taste in men😄 (that being ex-convicts) and hopefully they get on double dates with their men trying to outdo the other by being the best 'boyfriend' to their better half

Truth be told I really need to finish my charlastor potion fic, this was the fic I was distracted from it by, but now... now I might wanna write some of the in universe charlastor for this au.

As for the cousins thing, I've always seen Emily as a cousin to Charlie partially because she was created to replace Lucifer in the hierarchy of seraphim after his fall. Lucifer's original job was to spread joy and that's also Emily's job. I imagine that the seraphim all share some type of relation, like Sera and Lucifer are related, alongside archangels like Michael.

Anyways, I'll be so for real, I wasn't actually done with this fic. What I posted was maybe... 3/4 of it? I know I had at least one more (quite literally) steamy scene planned for the morning after. But I am one of those people who cannot read massive one shots (I think the longest oneshot I've ever read was an old amuto one called bar at the end of the universe and even it was only 32k tops) and therefore cannot really write them. So, I found the most natural stopping place and cut it there. Rest assured, I have plans.
