on the 29th of january 1996 an episode of star trek voyager called "threshold" aired. during this episode the ships pilot, tom paris, test flies a shuttle that goes faster than warp 10 and starts turning into a lizard. the doctor tries to revert him but he decides that he'd rather stay a lizard, thanks, and kidnaps the captain in the shuttle. they both turn into lizards and have lizard babies and the crew have to pick them up and revert them back into humans. tragically the lizard babies are abandoned. audiences everywhere went "woah that was bad even for star trek! we could make a holiday out of this!" hence threshold day.

this is a great question because it narrowed my soul! i would choke on regular chewing gum on the steps outside before even entering the factory. willy would make no attempt to perform the heimlich maneuver and would leave my corpse on the concrete
