there is no practical difference between "person who materially and ideologically supports genocide but only does so because it's materially beneficial" and "person who materially and ideologically supports genocide but is really excited about genocide." How eager your are to commit genocide, your personal convictions behind your support for genocide, are completely irrelevant when you are actually committing genocide. When you are sending billions upon billions of dollars to Israel to insure that genocide continues, it makes no difference whether or not you're doing it purely because you know it materially benefits you or because you just hate Palestinians. Claiming that the former is somehow better than the latter is simply running defense for genocide and the people carrying it out, which to be clear also puts you in that former camp, as someone supporting genocide for your own material interests
