So, I ship movie continuity Grace x Rocky, but I really don't feel like it has to contradict the aroace or platonic interpretations that other people have, and that's for one simple reason:
My partner of two-and-a-half years is aroace.
Something can be both romantic AND platonic and EVEN a secret third thing! Attraction is a spectrum, love comes in infinite forms, and to me these two buds are deeply romantic besties who need neither sex nor label, and it's beautiful.
