The Dark Urge fully deciding that Gortash needs to die pretty early on- like pre Dead Three Alliance early- they can see and feel themselves shifting to accommodate him, to stall urges they’ve never said no to, and they’re starting to see him as more than just a stepping stone and that’s a problem that needs culling yesterday.
And then the ol’ BB (Bhaal & Bane) pull up and say that they have to work together and they should go snag Myrukl’s Chosen while they’re at it.
