btw the plushies are all handmade, and if the kid knows who their parent is, a metal clip is added to the ear of the plush with a symbol of their parent. and it’s accepted for the kids to carry the plush around with them for the first couple years they’re at camp, for comfort . and half of these plushies are named wolfie btw

they share each other’s sweatshirts and sweatpants like all them time

and like whenever jason is in a crappy mood he puts on one of percy’s big sweatshirts and takes a nap in it because it smell’s like percy (that fresh, ocean breeze scent mixed w/ his cologne) and it comforts him

baking “”bros”” ok like they can’t cook for shit but they can bake and they eat more baked goods then they do actual food ok

they both hate scary movies but they watch them anyway bc they like getting scared + they always like to laugh at the monsters that are so obviously fake (bc they’ve seen real monsters)

imagine this: percy and jason in their pajama’s on their couch on a saturday night watching a horror movie, popcorn bowl in jason’s lap, and the movie is reaching a suspenseful moment and suddenly instead of getting scared by the movie they get scared by nico who shadow traveled into the room due to whatever maybe an errand, but anyway he scares them and popcorn goes flying

they are the best at buying ugly sweaters during the holidays annabeth and clarisse literally get so annoyed, but then leo and piper come up behind them with just as ugly sweaters, grinning

it’s a real good time

jason chilling out on the couch scrolling through his phone while there’s a thunderstorm going on and percy walks over, crawls on top of him, and takes a nice long nap omg i’m gonna kermit

they’re that couple that is ready to go with whatever the other wants to do so like if everyone was out hiking and jason was like “you wanna free climb that cliff face?” percy would be like “yo, yes!!!”

and there would be no one to tell them that’s not a good idea until reyna spots them half way up the cliff and she just mumbles “idiots,” and then she tells hazel who then runs to them yelling “stop!!!”

percy waking up from a really bad night terror and he doesn’t want to go back to sleep and he doesn’t want to be alone so jason’s like let’s bake

and so we have 3am jercy baking and dancing in their underwear time

one time on a dare (created by travis and connor stoll™), jason and percy had to spend two nights with one of those robot, simulator babies

they did pretty decently, minus the picture percy posted of jason passed out with the baby on his chest and the video that the stolls filmed with the camera they had planted in the apartment the day before

they’re so competitive with one another, both in and out of the bedroom ayyyyyy

jason falling off the lava wall at camp (and actually falling bc he was caught off gaurd) and there’s a hush as everyone holds their breath to see if he’s okay

but from across camp, you can here percy’s voice echo out, “loooooossssseeeeeeerrrrrr”

so many raspberry kisses i’m not even kidding, like whenever they are chilling or cuddling, whenever percy has his head on jason’s chest and vice versa, they’ll just pull up the other’s shirt and give them a quick raspberry kiss i love them om gjlkasdj alskdjas

whenever they make out in the car jason’s glasses fog up and sometimes he forgets to take the off, so when percy pulls back he’s left staring at foggy spectacles and it never fails to make him laugh

Jason visits the stables a lot after meeting Percy, since apparently the dude can talk to horses and he spends a lot of his free-time there. It’s fun to watch them interact because they seem to be good friends of his–at least, from what Jason can tell. Sometimes, Percy will randomly cut off mid-translation and elbow one of the mares in the side, or chuckle out a random and sort of strained, “These guys are hilarious,” after a particularly vivacious neigh. But overall, he thinks that it’s pretty cool of Percy to volunteer his time to bring his horse friends snacks and keep them company. He’s pretty sure the rest of the horses and pegasi appreciate him. Percy’s a pretty cool guy. 

companies/facilities/organizations that service mortals and also have a supernatural side are a dime a dozen in this universe, and the blending of mythology with modern society is truly the essence of pjoverse. so percy running a nonprofit (or something like that) to help natural and supernatural creatures is perfectly fitting.

he's already doing marine rescue as a passion project at the ripe age of 14 and he is, obviously, a natural. plus it fits perfectly with his natural disposition - hero, kind, helper, active, works on his own schedule.

if you think about it percy's also kind of a natural entrepreneur and hustler. he's very resourceful and works very hard when motivated/passionate about something, he's so clever and has natural tendencies towards selling things and smooth-talking people and he's excellent at leading and inspiring people towards a goal. i think he'd really enjoy being self-employed for something he truly cares about. like when you think about the kid who sold candy out of his dorm and bribed his way into the underworld and told hades to give charon a raise and rallied a group of forty teenagers to save the world and dispelled a senate of riled up romans it's like. wait hold on he'd actually be... excellent at giving keynote speeches at fundraising events

the spirit of pan went into him and charged him to reclaim the wild so this is a fulfillment of that.

the aquarium in atlanta bothers him so much and he can't stop thinking about it and promises to come back for the animals so i think this shows more than anything that this is a real passion for percy. and it also shows you how it could start organically - he makes good on his promise to reform that specific aquarium and when he mentions it to grover, grover goes completely ballistic and throws everything he has at helping percy achieve this goal, and as the besties that they are, they realize, huh, we could like, keep doing this together and that would be great, right?

percy would have easy partners with rachel and grover, two environmental and animal rights activists that have a lot of available resources at their disposal. with their help running the business side of things, percy would be free to only participate in the hands-on parts that he actually enjoys. and like what is the point in having a millionaire friend with a guilty conscience if he's not going to leverage that, you know?

plus i think annabeth would be involved as a side gig since she's an animal lover too. i also think that, given her natural workaholic tendencies, she'd be really happy to have a long-term project to share with percy that he's passionate about.

if they make their own nonprofit (or something like that) then percy can easily work there without needing a degree. i think percy is perfectly capable of studying marine biology or oceanography if that's what he really wanted & if he actually just got accommodations and wasn't in danger, for once. but regardless, he's never liked or taken naturally to traditional classroom learning, and given his mental state, i think it's like, bordering on self-harm to shove him into a bachelors program right out of high school lol. this way if he wants a degree he can get one at his leisure.

they can work freely without being constrained by the mist if they just run their own organization/facility. like this way they're free to employ satyrs, naiads, nymphs, cyclopes, etc. and rescue mythical creatures. they can finally get the ophiotaurus out of his bubble on olympus and enrich his life. they can work with the hudson and east river gods to start anti-pollution initiatives. it just opens up all kinds of possibilities.

rachel has mortal resources, but between percy's status as poseidon's son and grover's status as lord of the wild, they would have tons of access to mythical connections and it would be such a waste not to use them. like percy can then accept donations in the form of sand dollars and magic sea pearls and they don't have to worry about what the bookeepers are going to think.

Freak4Freak Jercy Collab

Any of us who want to participate can join. My idea is that each of us write from a different character's POV of them witnessing Percy and Jason being freakily obsessed with each other (can be explicit or not) I can give out the prompts I have in my head and people choose their characters who will be responding!
