baela is so underused as a character i can't believe that hotd does nothing with her and we are IN SEASON 3!!! fire and blood explicit states she has a temper, she is bold, she literally makes sure that aegon will never walk again and she is given NOTHING in the show. two scenes with Jace ( without expanding on their romance) and one with Alyn and Corlys and that's it! It's so frustrating

I can buy that neuvillete and furina didn't know who columbina was bc she was hidden in Shneshnaya by the Tsaritsa, but them meeting Sandrone for the first time in this event makes no sense especially since Neuvillete did know who Alain was. Very disappointed by their interactions imo.

that scene where columbina introduces herself to the grave of alain has to be the most romantic scene in genshin like you couldn't make it more obvious that sandrone and columbina are in love

The person who approved rhaenyra dressing as nun and going to kings landing to meet and greet alicent has to be banned from working to anything tv/movie related ever again. Daemon with his hoodie was already ridiculous but this is the stupidest most egregious shit in any adaptation of asoiaf like i am appaled. Got s7 level of stupidity.

i wish this show was at all a little bit more interested in baela and rhaena , i feel like the show was so many unnecessary scenes that they could replace with a little but more dragon twins. Hotd doesn't really seem interested in exploring female characters that aren't Rhaenyra or Alicent ( and Rhaenys but she is dead)

rewatching season 2......i didn't remember cregan stark's acting being like this...very underwhelming unfortunately. And it's crazy how much stuff with him and jace ( and sara snow) the show left out.

I actually really liked s1 rhaenicent ( love doomed yuri) but the moment their characters became all about each other and their characters kind of forgot that they have other people in their lifes , it stopped being appealing to me. I refuse to believe that Rhaenyra would be buddy buddy with Alicent and after the gullet and both of them acting like sitcoms characters after Otto's assassination.

Rewatching s1 of hotd and that scene with Daemon and Vermithor is so random??? Does anyone have like an explanation why they included it to me it didn't really add anything.

the downfall of hotd started with "alicent misunderstanding viserys' speech" shit. Contrived misunderstanding to move the plot ( and to keep Alicent sympathetic). It set the tone for the rest of contrived misunderstandings ( nooo aemond didn't want to kill Luke, magically Vhagar killed him ( even though vhagar listens to only their rider) and it all happened just to keep Alicent sympathetic enough.

alicent is not even a character anymore, she is here to be whatever the episode wants her to be, sometimes to yuribait, sometimes to be a fucking idiot, sometimes to "betray her kids", sometimes for hess and condal to make un needed sexual assault scenes, and sometimes she is just not even needed. hess and condal are lucky that olivia cooke is a generational actress bc without her charisma alicent would be the worst written character in hotd.

the lobotomization of citlali in this event is.... interesting to say the least. "Jealousy" of other female characters with traveler aside, the concept of her saying that there are good people in the harbinger and fatuis in general JUST bc Capitano was nice is character assassination to say the least.

i might be in the minority here but there's almost nothing let alone an apology that louis could accept from armand from the 70 year long lying and the murder of his daughter. I also don't think there would be any purpose for Armand to apologise and be genuine. In comparison with Lestat and Daniel, who he has his own different histories with them, Louis and Armand are inherently tied to Claudia. like even if it happens...then what dyfxudd

lestat saying he allowed louis to be with armand to punish him and bc he wanted armand to suffer and not a mention of whatever his "love" for claudia....welcome back s1 Lestat!
