Hamaguchi confirms there's one ending, one main scenario with no branching pathways or alternate endings.

The only branches are for things like character quests so you the player can decide how well you get to know the relationships between everyone.

March 14: In Japan, this is the day where men reciprocate to women who gave them romantic gifts on Valentine's Day. We know Cloti in the Lifestream happens in this game (OG Disc 2), and we know that this trilogy still leads into ACC because FF7 == FF7R, FF7R is literally FF7, and Cloti has been a canon couple since Under the Highwind at the end of OG Disc 2, so... 👀

March 3: Girls' Day or Doll's Day, a Shinto holiday in Japan, "celebrating the health and happiness of young girls and women." Of course, March 3 is also Rinoa's birthday. But since this first trailer and the other clips, including her reveal in Street Fighter 6, were so Tifa-centric, and we know that Tifa will be party leader for a bit while Cloud is missing, so releasing the game on Girls' Day makes sense! Plus, Remake was originally supposed to be released on March 3, 2020, before it got pushed back by a month, to April 10.

April 10: From the previous bullet, this was the date in which Remake was eventually released, after it was delayed from March 3.

I honestly just threw out March 14 because of how much Cloti we're gonna get because it's OG Discs 2 and 3, Real Cloud will be back, etc.

In reality, I'm more likely to think it'll be either March 3 or April 10.

There probably are winter outfits for crossing the glacier but they got rid of them when they reached the top of the crater.

Seriously tho, Tifa has 4 outfits, and the black mage is one the other party members can use, so Cloud is also a black mage, but retains his warrior status so I guess he's a a sword mage?

Also the fact they want to streamline rebirthakes it obvious they want people to either go Remake-> Revelation or even straight jump onto Revelation which is what a lot of people may do. They will just give a summary about this zombie girl dying NOW START YOUR ADVENTURE, JRPG companies don't like when fans can get too much content and feel overwhelmed.

Silver!! I hope you don't mind me sending you this Ask, but I'm just so excited to share my initial reaction to SGF!

(I actually fell asleep right after work, so I missed the entire initial showing, but thankfully it's still on YouTube, so I just finished watching it!)

1) Tifa is in Street Fighter 6 after all!! The cheers from the audience when Tifa in anime form appeared after Bosch!!

I wonder what finally convinced Nomura to lend Tifa out to another IP, especially an equally huge IP such as Capcom? Do you have any guesses, or can you legally not say anything if you do know?

"Tifa is a character loved by the players all around the world" — well, at least Hamaguchi is finally saying that! So much better than what he kept saying in 2024 in the months immediately after Rebirth. Hopefully his media training from Nojima, Nomura and Kitase continues to shine through as we get closer to 2027.

2) The full 8 party member team standing together!! (Yes I'm excluding the pink slimeball because she's literally dead and NEVER coming back to life) I think it would've been cooler if they did a Power Walk, but them standing together still looks badass!

Yes, Tyler Hoechlin got replaced. He couldn't make the commitment to continue, which is a shame, but Sephiroth has had so many vas it hardly makes much difference.

The party has 4 fits, 3 of which are universal to everyone and 1 unique one. At least that's the word so far. Likely be add ons for more, the devs love playing dress up with the characters.

Resolve was the title...until it wasn't. Nomura flip-flop 🤷🤣

Tifa's line is likely post lifestream scene since she's saying "you" plural in jp. Cloud's line is also likely post lifestream scene and talking to the party after he comes back.

Each party member is the leader for their own arc segment like in Rebirth. But Tifa is leader overall after Cloud goes missing, and that's for a good 2hrs of gameplay, not including sidequests or anything off the main scenario.

The release date is likely to be March, but that's not a definite, just my guess.

I also know some other stuff not in the trailers but I'll get in deep shit if I say anything. I figure this much is okay 😁
