In the economy here; cash is already strapped as it is. You bet your ass companies would suck the ever living life out of misc. art sites.

I don’t want it to ever come down to me choosing between groceries or purchasing a new tier package via comcast to be able to access tumblr or DeviantArt (let alone not guaranteeing I’ll even be seen by my customer base since they may not want to pay out their asses either). It doesn’t seem important to most, but I do 90% of my business online entirely.

This means that the American internet is going to be firmly under the control of those who have the most money. You’ll only get to see the content of those who can pay the ISPs to provide access at a reasonable speed. This means that you can expect to see skewed representation of just about everything, with those bigger businesses who can afford to pay ISPs a premium for access deciding what you can and cannot read, view and consume on the internet.

This is not something that we have in the UK. Our ISPs compete with each other to provide higher speeds, better services and lower prices, but because there’s a monopoly in the US of a few ISPs who provide services, they can afford to do this to you. You can’t go anywhere else, after all.

I’d like to post this here as a follow-up to things that have gone down. I feel like it’s necessary considering the person commissioned me over Tumblr, and I’d like to make sure nobody else has this happen to them over Tumblr aswell.

DO NOT HARASS OR BULLY THIS USER. YOU’RE MAKING THINGS WORSE. THIS POST IS MADE SO SELLERS CAN AVOID THIS PERSON, NOT SO THEY CAN HARASS THEM.

I was recently commissioned by someone who goes by “n-chan-the-fantastical-yaoi-god” here on Tumblr. They asked for 2 commissions from me, which I gladly took.

Long story short. This user COMMISSIONED ART OF CHARACTERS THAT WERE NOT HIS, WITHOUT PERMISSION. The artwork was “supposed” to be NSFW. AND NOT ONLY THAT, but this user CHARGED BACK the payment from their credit card holder so that they didn’t have to pay for the commission. This also put me out by $20 because of a Paypal “”””””investigation fee”””””.

This user is ALSO UNDERAGED. They’re 16 years old and commissioned NSFW art under the guise of being 18+. As of now, no money has been exchanged to me for NSFW art, and I continue to refuse service of NSFW art to users who are under the International Age of Consent of 18 years old. I told them that if they attempt to send any money to me, it will be refused.

For more info, my friend Captain-Nikko on FA was also scammed by this user, among others. And he’s made a very intricate journal warning all about this user, and testimonies from those who have been scammed, or who N-Chan has attempted to scam.
