If you live north of the Equator, June 21 marks the summer solstice for you. This date is when the Northern Hemisphere reaches its maximum tilt toward the Sun and has its longest stretch of daylight all year.

In the Southern Hemisphere, the opposite is true today! Today is the start of winter and the shortest day for friends south of the Equator.

In my absence, Eman's village's situation has been getting worse, far far worse. As the fabric of Sudan's medical and other social infrastructures have been destroyed by war and genocide, displaced people are seeing a high risk of disease outbreaks amongst them. This is what Eman's village is currently going through, and her family has been one of many affected by dengue fever.

Eman is scared, alone, and feels like her family's situation is invisible. Please show her that she isn't alone, and that her and her family and her village aren't invisible. Please if you can spare anything, help Eman @emiiii980 out.
