Yes, this is the person "behind" @roxytonic (2021-22), and I own the imperfect fieldwork and shoddy methodologies from that blog. However, I strongly favor my LGBTQ+ adolescents, antifragility, and identity coherence poster with E.G. and Georget to be my first proper foray into research with online communities. Following my 2025-26 work with the Culture and Tech Lab, I would say my current understanding of social media and online fandom is informed by ingroup-outgroup differentiation, contemporary media and fandom as digital hermeneutic, and my personal experiences with social media as a stage for my identity development when I was a teenager and now as a young adult.

I used to be REALLY interested in personal knowledge management (early 2021 to late 2022), Homestuck (mid 2016 to early 2023), Adventure Time (April 2020), consumer technology (2015-2021) -- but feel free to ask about these topics!
