bumped into my neighbor who told me about how when she was mowing she found a praying mantis and while pointing it out to a another neighbor ran into a group of 4 men and also asked if they wanted to see and they enthusiastically agree
so, she takes them to see it and notices that these men are almost giddy over this bug so she starts asking questions and turns out they are from various African countries, are scientists travelling on some sort of research grant, and one of them in particular is specialist in insects and they were all just on their way to their Air B&B
like. Imagine you arrive in this foreign country to study its local bugs, you get off the plane and start walking to where you are staying, and some old lady stops you and is all "hey! Come look at our local bug!"

Finnish is fun because Olli is a man's name and Auli is a woman's name and anglophones struggle to pronounce them differently from each other.
Some dialects/variants of English has this issue In English! Some dialects pronounce Erin and Aaron the same way, as well as Don and Dawn.
In aggregate, English has a lot of vowels, but that's because they differ so much between variants. Any given dialect of English is so fucking short on vowel sounds for a germanic language, it's annoying.
Where's that video of the two guys finding out that in the accent they speak, "Aron earned an iron urn" is just "Eern eern ern eern eern" and getting mad about it because it's true.
There’s three (I think four but we can only hear the fourth’s voice?) guys, and only one of them is mad about it, and it’s fucking hilarious.
Also for a data point of one, I grew up with both English and Spanish (multiple dialects of that one) as a first language and almost any time I learn another language I default to Spanish vowel sounds as a starting point because fuck English vowels. I don’t do it consciously but every time I stop and listen to what I’m doing I get very Fuck English Vowels all over again.
