i think the worst part about living in a late-stage capitalist dystopia is how hard they try to spin these things to make them appeal to the mass market like “WOW! these blatant attempts to invade privacy and discretely control the population SO HIP and COOL!!!” and then it gets 50k shares on facebook from people who dont even think twice about the actual ramifications of it
