Taking a closer look at Horst Sambo’s illustrative works for RedBull. 

The first time I saw Okamoto Hajime’s cat drawings, I was immediately taken in by their charming quality. There are so many Japanese illustrators and artists that have something that, to me, is hard to define, but is so delightful and full of character. I often try to emulate that quality, but can’t quite get it.

Can we just take a minute to lust after these ADORABLE illustrations for vegan skin care line, meow meow tweet? 

Majestic paintings by American illustrator and painter, Mark English. Those colours are so vibrant, and they look like the paint floated up onto the canvases. 

Some of the most luxurious children’s book illustrations I’ve seen in a while, by Satoe Tone. Her canvas paintings have won her the Bologna Children's Book Fair's International Award for Illustration and currently lives in Italy. 

I’ve (for a long time) have had a crush on illustrations by Josh Cochran, who always inspires me to return to my pencil drawing roots rather than going directly onto my ipad.  http://joshcochran.com/

Japanese illustrator Kaido Kenta http://kaidokenta.tumblr.com/ has this wonderfully simple drawing style with distinct, wiggly lines of people doing daily activities, animals in milk containers, each one chock-full of character.

Japanese poster for the Tsujiki Autumn Festival Poster. Great sharp and bold motifs. Also, I believe outlined fonts is hard to make not look tacky, and here they did it nicely.
