"The doctor who loved me" 'I'm taking him home with me, all dressed in white. He's got everything I need, pharmacy keys. He's fallen hard for me, I can see it in his eyes.' I'm finally finished with this and so relieved. Oil on canvas.

Concept sketch into oil painting. "Love is blindness" I did the graphite sketch early in 2017 becoming obsessed with the image and feeling like I needed to do more with it. Pencil wasn't enough. So I took a plunge and started playing with a medium I've never used before, oil paint. This became my first oil painting. Since then I haven't put down the paint brush down and continued further pieces in this medium, my new favorite obsession(besides my long term love affair with anything Hannibal). Taking things further, at the age of 27, I've decided to go back to school pursue an education in fine art. What was an interest has turned into a passion and now is about to change my life(I think for the better). So that being said, happy new year! I'm grateful to have an inspiration like Hannibal(the series,movies& books) to motivate me to be more passionate about life and enjoy the things right in front of me with my own hands and eyes.

"I'm so weak and powerless over you." Big painting I've been working on for a few months now. Oil on canvas. Around 36x24 I think.. I started this piece when there was some really fucked up shit going on in my life. And I'm happy we made it out the other side. I love this scene from Hannibal. I hope some of you can feel it too.
