First of all, if there was no impartial fact finding process (ie. a trial) there is literally no way to know if they were guilty or not. This is the whole point of “innocent until proven guilty” – you cannot ever know if someone is guilty until you actually fucking check. If the person in question was murdered extrajudicially, then they were an innocent victim, full stop, no exceptions – and that’s true even if a court would have probably found them guilty. That is the literal meaning of the presumption of innocence.

But secondly, and I’d argue at least as importantly: even if they were guilty, so what? Let’s say the blood libel accusations against a Jewish community were true. Let’s imagine that some Black teenager really did rape a white woman twice his age. Is it justice to lock them inside a synagogue and burn them alive? Is it justice to string them up on trees, and come out with picnic baskets to watch them slowly suffocate?

The idea that any of this is even related to justice in any possible way is utterly and completely disgusting, and it’s concerning as fuck to see people advocating for a world where it happens.

2. Palestinians welcomed Jewish immigrants into their homes before 1948, only to have those homes stolen by their Jewish guests when they went on vacation.

3. There exists some mythical group of "Jewish Palestinians" who were expelled by Israelis in 1948 and/or are currently oppressed by Israel.

4. There exists some mythical group of "Arab Jews" who are oppressed by Israel and all believe in solidarity with Palestinians.

5. Christians suffer from more persecution in Israel than they do under the Palestinian Authority or under Hamas in Gaza.

6. Israelis steals organs from the bodies of Palestinians they murder.

7. Ethiopian women were sterilized by the Israeli government.

8. Israel has the highest rate of skin cancer in the world.

9. DNA tests in Israel are illegal.

10. Israelis give Palestinian children poisoned candy.

(Yes, some people actually believe this last one.)

This isn't a matter of debate or opinion. All it takes is a five minute google search to prove that all of the claims listed above either don't have a shred of evidence to support them or have been debunked numerous times.

Yet people will still believe them.
