phoenix drop high is a private school. the student body is mostly from wealthy families but there are some scholarship students. they consider familial legacy for acceptances. it's also a feeder school for falcon claw uni

the school was established for human students only and opened up for meifwas and werewolves at a later date. however, the school is notorious for being inequitable towards students of other races (no perching places for meifwas, window-breaking for werewolves, etc)

werewolf students typically attend a werewolf-only school while meifwas can usually fit in with human-only schools. werewolf schools place significance on pack living, werewolf etiquette, and pack guidance

pdh has a strict dress code -- must wear the uniform, no piercings other than earlobes, no tattoos, dyed hair is okay, socks must be white, shoes must be black

ro'meaves and lycans are the wealthies families at pdh. ro'meaves have generational wealth (think alpine ski chalets, legacies to big universities, "doesn't everyone have a maid?"), while lycans are recent business-boom rich (not necessarily new money but.. something like that)

dante+gene, zvahls, everyone else really are upper-middle class, while aphmau, travis, and katelyn are middle/lower-middle class
