How did Hiccup spend his thousand + years as a spirit?
This question has been swirling in my mind for more than a month.
Of course chapter 43 of OTNWAS destroyed me (in the best way, kudos to @jjackfrost for creating THE masterpiece <3) I really needed to let my feelings out and bring Hiccup's past to light.
There are some scenes with Jack, but I intentionally decided to focus on the first thousand years of Hiccup and Toothless as wind spirits and Hiccup's life on Berk, with his family and friends. And the loss that came with it.
(AND I KNOW I KNOW, the ending might be a bit bitter, but if you watch the animatic backwards it finishes with Hiccup who finally recognizes Jack <3)

AWWW thank you, though I am still learning to draw him properly (the snoot especially, I love how artists in this fandom draw his snoot, I can't make it as good yet), I can't solve how to do dynamic poses with his bodytype so my sketchbooks are full of broken Bowsers or him standing straight ahah
Bowser went from having a crush on Luigi to "I will be marrying this man" when he found out that Luigi could cook
What convinced him was some tiramisu and a few other desserts
Ehehe it's cute but honestly not sure if Luigi being a good cook is how I imagine him (and I didn't find it to be canon) so I kind of imagine him to be quite clumsy in the kitchen and burning things down :3 Bowser is very good at cooking meat though ~ Actually wait ahah what if Bowser finally admit his love interest when Luigi kept making something utterly clumsy *Luigi trips over the carpet* Bowser: "I will marry this man or he will die before I manage to do so" I might be too rude to Luigi but I so much love when he is quite bad at things but he does try his best and even actually manages to do something after days of attempting, while I can imagine Bowser to be quite good at many skills but just not find no interest in them

Spicy bowuigi sketches
One day I'll give up and write an absolutely clownary of a fic where none will be spared of a lack of brain cells
Just a short bits of what I would have imagined them to be in soulmates (though I am no writer and english is not my language so it is basically made on a whimp) ------------ Donkey Kong was exaggeratedly waving his hands at confused Mario "Dad, just look at him, he is an ugly rat! There's no way he can be my soulmate! Look at his haircut, it's awful! Who even cuts there, I bet he doesn't even have hair in th-" Mario sank his claws straight into his toes and Donkey Kong grabbed them with the squeal while hoping on his one untouched leg. "Look at yourself! You literally are a brainless ape, ooh look at me I am so cool I have four hands I can throw barrels hoo-hoo-hoo" Mario parodied him with an apelike manner. "You dare to show me so poorly, I'll rip your tail off, come here!" Mario jumped off of his grasping area "Ha! Oooh look at me I am so big and slow my hands are good only for grabbing bananas hoo-hoo-hoo" Mario and Donkey Kong ended up doing anything but fighting, running back and forth on the stadium, while the audience didn't understand how to react to what was happening. Only Cranky kong and Peach couldn't help but cover their faces in embarassment. ----------
Bowser has been lying on the cold floor, absolutely thrown out of everything by the latest discovery. "How is that even possible? All my life I was sure that my second half must be a gorgeous, ambitious, kind and gorgeoues princess, princess Peach! Why you! It makes no sense, does the fate itself think so little of me to give me a... who you were again?" "Plumber, bu-" before Luigi could explain of how important his job actually is, Bowser continued his speech. "Plumber. This is just a mockery to my royal bloodline! Even if you were a king of plumbers you would be worth of just one of my nails! The one on the left toe to be more precise!" Luigi coffed in his cell "Well you are no better Signore oh so peacocky gonfiato!" Bowser looked at him dumbfoundedly "What did you say?" "I was hoping my destined one would be a kind lady who loves animals", for a second there Luigi fell back into his dreams, but one look at that strange fantasy-like creature on the floor brought him back to reality "Not an... what are you, a turtle-like ugly animal? Hmph, you are not the only one here with broken dreams" perhaps the Bowser's lying pose made him feel less in the thread to make bold statements.
"I am the Bowser! The King of Koopas! And you dare to call me ugly?! Ladies beg me to marry them!" "And where is the Princess Peach, hah? She definitely would have never begged such a rude, egoistic sociopath like you!" Bowser got up from the floor and gripped to the bars of the ceiling, It shook along with the person inside, who had also gripped the same cage bars as Bowser and was staring straight at the King, nervously but still confidently. Perhaps he really breathed in too much carbon dioxide to get so much bravery. -------------
