how to listen to music without some dogshit website getting in your way
streaming services want you to spend your money soooo bad even though youve been able to listen to music offline without ads for free for pretty much as long as there have been devices. here's a quick and dirty guide so that you dont have to rely on these cunts anymore if you dont want to.
note that apple devices may not have a lot of options due to their attempts to make all developers suffer. i also dont use apple devices myself, so i don't know much about them. i still tried to find stuff for you though.
i will put an asterisk* on the things that i haven't used myself. you should assess if you think the utility is trustworthy.
first you will need an audio file player application without ads that also works offline. there should be at least one of these for every platform so if i didn't list your device, you can get reddit to help you.

i use multiple devices for music and dont want to download all of my music multiple times
use syncthing, it lets you sync folders between devices for free. if you use apple devices i think they have a syncing application of their own but idk a whole lot about it.
i use last.fm
as far as i can tell, you can use last.fm with all of the applications i listed. look up online how to get your preferred application and/or device to work with last.fm and you'll be good. reddit should be helpful in this case.
when i had android i used to use pano scrobbler which works well enough. on windows i use some fucked up ancient portal with WACUP.
