the narrative parallels between yue and zuko… both are children of their nations’ leaders (prince and princess), both are honour and duty bounds to their fates (zuko’s, at first, to capture the avatar and then to train the avatar/become fire lord), both suffering at the hands of their father’s due to duty, honour and tradition (zuko’s burn/banishment and yue’s arranged marriage), both of them risk their lives to save their nations (zuko battling azula to stop her from becoming fire lord, yue giving up her own life to become the moon spirit) and most importantly… both of them develop a deep, trusting relationship with sokka
