me: would you like some free breadsticks to eat while we remake you pizza? another customer touched it

customer says nothing, takes the drink, shoves straw in, takes a long sip

customer: i wanted this hot. i ordered a small hot decaf skinny vanilla latte.

me: are you jennifer?

KOH is a 3D action/adventure game currently being developed by Riftcaller Games! You play as a young dragon, named Koh, on a quest to restore order to their world following the catalyst of an ancient prophecy. Join them on their journey as they run, jump, glide, and explore through distinctive and beautifully themed worlds, collecting treasures and thwarting baddies along the way. In short, the gameplay itself will pay tribute to the platformer classics of the 90’s, while simultaneously making sure mechanics are finely tuned for a modern-age experience.

By supporting the project on Patreon, you’ll be helping to fund it directly during its development: allowing the team to dedicate more time to building the game and less time worrying about living expenses. In return for your support, you’ll be getting access to the entire Patreon feed of behind-the-scenes posts and updates as content develops. In-progress concept art and video/gameplay previews are just a couple of the perks you’d unlock for pledging as little as $1/month. Upper tiers will naturally have more exclusive content, but overall we feel that making the Patreon as accessible as possible to all supporters will be best in the long-term.

The Riftcaller Games team is a collective of creatives, bookworms, and tireless thinkers with a deep love for storytelling through the gaming medium and elegant world design. Our focus is on creating games with genuinely fun, immersive gameplay synergized with creative visuals to transport the player to fantastic worlds. Our team is composed of members of the LGBTQ+ community and you can count on representation within the project through the game’s writing, characters, and narrative. Our dragon protagonist themselves is non-binary and is exclusively referred to in the game’s dialogue with they/them pronouns. This is by purposeful design because we feel that more adventure games need to respect the Player’s choice. It’s something that we feel helps the Player more freely connect with the gameplay and story, resulting in a more wholesome experience overall.
