I kind of invented iliya out of impulse as someone for scy to be insane about and/or because of but he has grown on me significantly. and I will admit that I use him as a paper doll to badly revenge flip russophobic tropes on but the process of that has created Some Type Of Guy. soviet birth certificate american via interfamilial kidnapping. his father was a codependent ussr defector loser. and an anticommunist. but proud of being belarusian ofc #contradiction. he yearns to return. he is so much a product of his circumstances that if he did return he wouldn't fit in. fluent in russian. hair sunbleached cause he lives in a city in the middle of the new mexico desert. the way he views society and power are deeply american. he is alienated from american society because of his #mutations. and alienated from the #mutations crowd for being himself. does everything alone and the hard way. his life aspirations are Nothing and Go To Hell. he is a much more successful [redacted] [redacted] [redacted] than scy for these reasons. whether or not he is happy about this no one will ever know. it was inevitable that he would end up in a position where scy has to die by his hand. he died at age 6 on that plane to usa and knows he's stuck in purgatory forever. he's gonna make you feel like youre stuck there with him.
