Summary:

Kat wipes the corner of her mouth and raises her hand like a benediction. Blood slides down her fingers.

“Enlarge not to my hunger,” Nate murmurs, quoting Keats, “or I'm caught in trammels of perverse deliciousness.”

His jaw aches. Saliva floods his mouth and he swallows. A pulse that isn’t a heartbeat beats in his fangs.

He licks his lower lip and Kat watches his tongue before slowly grazing her fingertips along his mouth. Her blood, dark and sticky sweet, smeared on his lips.
