This is the first #tabletopgaming #miniature I've painted since the 1990s. Pretty happy with the result. Between college courses and YouTube videos, I'm a lot better than I was back then. I don't think it photographed as well as it looks in person, which is really too bad when we're all still #socialdistancing on #roll20. Figure is #reaperminiatures 03667 Nonalla Ellinad Elf Wizard. Just an incredible mini. Tons of details and depth. I really wanted to try my best to do it justice, so the pictures other people shared online were a big help in picking out tiny details and planning how I wanted mine to look. In my #DnD game, this is Leshanna, the Elf-Witch of Daggerford - wood elf #warlock, adopted daughter of Darfin Floshin, and head of crime scene investigation with the #daggerford city watch. Along with her city watch uniform, she sports a Dark Shard Amulet, Book of Shadows, and a Cloak of Many Fashions made to resemble the flowing Delimbiyr River. I bought a couple different figures because I couldn't decide at first, but this one ended up suiting the character almost perfectly. Paints include various old ones (The Armory? Are they still around? From Baltimore, MD?), #badgerairbrush, #liquitex, and #vallejo. All applied by hand - somehow an actual airbrush hasn't entered my arsenal yet. #forgottenrealms #swordcoast #dungeonsanddragons #woodelf #woodelves (at Saukville (town), Wisconsin) https://www.instagram.com/p/CBRpPcrneWT/?igshid=lny9tky1ahae
