Today I used my freedom to hang a #shelf I've wanted for more than 10 years. The wall is poured concrete and not quite vertical, so putting up brackets for an 8' shelf is a bit daunting. Instead, I skipped right over that step and suspended it from the ceiling. Trick was finding the right tools and hardware to make it possible (and level and safe). There's plenty wrong in the world, but we're also living in a time where we have such access to information and technology, nearly anything you can imagine is possible if you put in enough time and effort.
