At Oz Comic Con Melbourne 2026, we spoke with the founder of @HexenSkye about handcrafted stainless steel jewellery, finding inspiration in stories and human emotions, growing a business over 13 years, and why passion matters more than profit.

One insight that stood out:

Author of six published books, including the Aliens novel Aliens: Bishop, T.R. spoke about the role of technology in society, why cyberpunk asks important questions about our future, and the advice he would give to aspiring writers.

One thing that stood out was how openly he spoke about self-doubt. Despite awards, published books, and years of experience, he admitted that every new project still comes with uncertainty.

📢 I Made This‼️Creativables Issue 27

These knitted fingerless gloves was created by @tiffanyscreativearts.

Although Tiffany has been knitting for years, making gloves with double-pointed needles was a completely new experience. The project challenged her skills while allowing her to create something meaningful. Many of her knitted pieces will be donated to support others, while some will be sold, with a portion of proceeds going to charity.

Stories like Tiffany's remind us that creativity is about more than making something beautiful. It's also about learning new techniques, sharing skills, and giving back to the community.
