I do scrapbooking as a hobby, inside planners like this one where I decorate each weekly spread and one monthly with the current chapter storyline of my Taste of Strawberries hayffie WIP, just for the joy of it.

In Sweden we call it “pyssla” and I’ve done it since I was a little kid writing in her diary.

With these two I hope to make a beautiful spread of Everlark going about their garden in the Victor’s Village. I might show it here later once it’s finished.

Creativity Boosts / Writing Exercises

Dig a box of photos out of storage, or pull out an old album. Find a picture that has an object in it and make that a charged object in a short story

Take your favorite antagonist in any film or novel and write a scene where they are the hero

Get co-workers/family/friends to share their most embarrassing moments (be ready to reciprocate), and write a short story based on one from the POV of your choice

Creativity boost spell.

Have you ever suffered from “artistic blank space”? I had. I can’t stand this horrible situation when you wanna create, and nothing comes clear in your mind. So, I give you my little witchy tricks to help me with this issue:

You’ll need: 🌟 Something related to your “art” (a pen, a brush, some partitures, a sculp tool…) 🌟 2tbsp of Beeswax 🌟 1 tbsp of olive oil or coconut oil. 🌟 3 drops of clove essential oil 🌟 3grains of myrrh 🌟 Mortar and pestle 🌟 A jasper pebble (can be substituted by an amethyst, citrine or clear quartz)

➡️Ground the myrrh with the mortar and pestle. ➡️Melt carefully the beeswax, pour the oils and stir for a minute. ➡️Add the myrrh and mix it gently. ➡️ Pour your mix in a little jar and place your pebble. ➡️Once cooled down, spread a bit in your tool using your finger. You can design a sigil with this purpose and draw it with this mix.

You can start a home workout routine using bodyweight exercises, or try creative writing to develop your skills.
