Sometimes I feel like humans wouldn't give Rocky the same treatment that the Eridians gave Grace, but then I remember that PHM is about hope and coming together. And you know what?
The humans would give Rocky the BEST living enclosure and the BEST engineering equipment to play around with.
Love for Rocky would infuse human culture. The Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra would translate A Midsummer Night's Dream into Eridian, which would launch a whole new genre of opera.
Rocky would be a universally beloved figure across the whole planet, and people of all walks of life - from billionaires trying to show off, to school children who were introduced to Rocky in a Bill Nye cameo - would donate to the Eridian Life Support team for as long as Rocky lived. And once Rocky died, the Life Support Team would continue to keep the habitat functional, just in case our neighbors stop by to say hi.
There would be Rocky merch and a world-wide Rocky holiday.
Rocky would wear his exo-suit and co-teach classes with Grace. He would also teach engineering classes by himself. His students would love him. He would also earn an ungodly amount of human money to spend frivolously from doing lectures at symposiums and universities worldwide.
Also, the internet would be full of (somewhat concerned but also funny and affectionate) memes about Rocky and Grace's codependence, and people would do everything to keep those two together and support their heroes.
Earth would welcome Rocky just as warmly as Erid welcomed Grace.
