Second Grail Doll Arrival of 2026
Finally, after a long time, I was able to find a longtime discontinued limited grail doll secondhand for the first time ever, a Loongsoul Chloe! I've named her Ophelia.
I've admired Loongsoul Chloe since her release in 2016 but could never justify her , because I already had a hoofed girl in that size (Zephyra, my Resinsoul Ai), and I mostly collected dolls I could style after my OCs. Also she cost a pretty penny blank and unclothed, which I couldn't afford for a long time either.
I'd written her off as a doll I'd never be able to get, especially once she was discontinued in like 2019 and she didn't seem popular. I literally never saw her for sale until late 2025, and I followed the listing until I could save up enough to afford her and made an offer that the seller accepted. I still paid out the ass for ebay fees, import and customs taxes, and shipping, but she arrived safely.
So onto the images from the opening!
I made a video of the box opening in case I had to report damages to eBay as the box felt.... really flimsy. Turns out she was without her original company box, but her CoA, headplate, and matching dog tag were inside so I know she's legit. She also had the default faceup, which was in great condition after 10 years (and a pain to remove).
In general she's in great shape and age-appropriately evenly mellowed. She stood rock solid right out of the box, though I'm gonna be restringing her and wiring her soon to assist her posability.

It was so dang cute! But after getting her unwrapped I tested a few wigs on her and settled on this purple ForMyDoll wig I had in 8-9 (her head is massive, even for her body, but it has an old school nostalgic charm), and some golden glass eyes.
I did order her a dress and wig from Legenddoll, but since the outfit has a 4 month production window, it's not shipped yet, along with a wig I got her. So temp stuff it is!
I did find this cute outfit in my stash that I got secondhand, and it looks cute on her I think. Her antlers didn't come with additional magnets to place on her head, but luckily I have a million magnets in various sizes and taped them to her headback on top. Works well and holds solid, even with how huge her antlers are.
I repainted her not long after she arrived, as that's how I bond with my dolls. It's kinda funny, I wanted to make her soft and sweet, but she had other thoughts.
She turned out dreamy and romantic instead! One thing I discovered when I took off her default faceup was that she actually had sculpted teeth! They were completely covered over with her previous faceup. So of course I painted them in. I think it's cute that she's got tiny teeth!
I played some musical wigs and made her some new eyes to match her faceup. I'm still waiting on her wig to arrive. I ordered one from Aliexpress and it should be delivered tomorrow. The first wig I ordered her is still with Legenddoll as they wait for the dress to be made. The next two wigs I ordered her from Aliexpress and I was sent the wrong wigs, so I ordered from a different seller a wig once I got refunded, that's the wig that's arriving tomorrow.
