i got swept away by the mightiest need to make a layered robot head that can be taken apart completely -> spent the last couple of days doing very little else than working on these two. they're mostly the same sculpt, but the pink one has some functional improvements compared to the black. all parts attach by magnets. the upper half of the mask can slide up and down, and the ears can rotate.

i have a matching body in progress, but these heads are enormous, so i'm not 100% sure if i will be printing it in this size. regardless, full modular robobuny coming up eventually.

Since there's only one doll left on my wishlist, I thought I'd cast the net once more. I know they're rare and tumblr isn't the hot spot for bjds anymore, but it never hurts to try.

I am looking for an Angel Region Present/Romantic Ren, the version of Ren with the half-closed eyes.

I don't care if it's the original release or the more recent Soom re-release, either is fine. I don't care if it's just the head. I don't care if it's damaged, yellowed, has a damaged faceup or no faceup. Honestly condition is not an issue so long as it's not been modded too much (it still has to have the original facial features).

I'm hesitant to put down an exact dollar amount here, but I am more than willing to pay fairly. I've been looking for this doll for almost two decades. If you have one you're willing to sell, or even any leads on one for sale, please please let me know!

I am looking for what is generally called carrot red wig colour but I can't find a single one in the style I am looking for

Some of the red browns are probably close but I want that orange 🥲 i am also willing to settle for less natural shades of orange

I checked luts, legenddoll, Alice collection, Stacie's pink ocean, ali express. I don't know where people get wigs these days so any suggestions would be very welcome

I want something whith swoopy bangs middle or side part and preferably long in the back, straight/wavey/curly whatever is fine, something simular to any of these wigs, some styling on my part is fine too ( at this point I am willing to settle for a short wig as well)

The victim is a telesthesia Mei Jiuqi, i got him to see if i was up for owning a 75 boy, i got the elf ears version but I found them to be quite diaspointing

So here is a test of concept with poster tac (i highly recommend this low stakes test for any additive doll mods) it can also give you a good idea of how much clay you will need

The epoxy i have has a tendency to turn green over time, I am hoping to partly combat this by mixing it to be a flesh tone, mixed some colours to get a match (the clay is white so got the colour darker thrugh ultimately it didn't end up mattering too much)

The colour ended up darker, and grayer. In part due to the green tinge it has but I think it's not too bad

Still needs sanding but pretty happy withthe result :)

And you might be thinking "damn those are kinda big"

Sometimes for no reason at all, I remember when Impldoll, troll of the BJD world, posted their newest doll - Penis, Coming Soon.

No matter what else I was thinking of, I always am happy and fondly remember. I also remember how I convinced my friend to post a news thread for Penis and the mod who locked it did so by saying, “We’re not yet sure if Penis will be on topic on Den of Angels. ;)”
