Jojo’s new body came in! It’s the same as the other Blackship Doll body, this time in volks tan. Next, I’ll take pics of the gorgeous box!

Pulled out the big camera for these pics of Béon and Ayida, the old married couple of my doll group! I just noticed the button on the Andinsky set I got from Space Studio’s booth at NYC Doll Con had a B on it. It was meant to B😏

Sometimes I forget to post projects here, the one place I could write a whole wall of text in!

I saw this body on ig and it had a backstory, but as soon as I saw it, I had to message the owner to buy it! I was originally going to do another kintsugi/visibly broken doll, but I’ve been challenging myself to do different things this year, like I used to when I was fresher to the hobby!

Step 1 was gluing everything together with loctite and reinforcing the insides with apoxie sculpt. Step 2 was finding a head and purpose for this. Luckily I have plenty of floating heads!

This one had more intact pieces, and it could almost pass as normal once everything was put together. All fingers and toes fit, all joints and the only thing it was missing was one half of an elbow peanut. The one piece I couldn’t reinforce lest it look weird were the fingers. I will look for some gold rings to cover them!

I remembered tumblr!!

The Impldoll Idol Body has arrived! Naomi (Elfdoll Vivien) is now in her 5th (?) body in 13 years. As the first doll that ever arrived in my hobby life, I have always had a specific look for her. A warrior. A strong woman. She’s been through a lot, but is getting closer with this new body. Amazing engineering, able to wield a sword and even draw it properly!?

I meant to just do body pics, but when I saw her hands I thought, hey wait a minute. That’s the perfect shape for a sword!!!

I’m super happy and waiting for Impl to release the bigger muscle girl body. I’ve always been a fan of the company, but the posing on this is just great! Long story short, I had actually ordered another brand that decided to stop making bodies after I waited since JUNE for it. So I asked @newcloversinging to help me buy something I could get faster. And here she is! She did arrive with a cracked ankle but once again newcloversinging ordered a replacement!
