when you are bandying about colorized, smoothed, upscaled and retouched "historical photos", unless someone did it all by hand in Photoshop, those are AI-generated imagery. im not sure why so many people seem to think they are something else. they arent. they are generated using math and likelihoods and fiction like any other AI image. the computer is guessing about what should go under the repaired infill, it is guessing about what color the human hair and skin is, it is guessing about the types of metal in the jewelry, the color of the sky, the color of people's eyes. it is guessing about time of day. its fake pictures. fiction. and it looks ugly. i have been on my hobbyhorse about this for decades and i am only getting more pissed off. its bad when humans colorize historical photos and its bad when it's done by an AI. it's ugly, it inserts false information into historical documents, it fucks up forensics and historical research. and its ugly. i dont want to see it
Hey here's the food that I've figured out his the right combo of cheap, easy to make, tolerably tasty, and relatively nutritionally sound for when my brain is bad:
2c rice (2c is dry, prepare as you usually do. Whatever kind of rice you have is good, brown rice works well)
2 cans of pinto or black beans, drained (or one can of each. Whatever.)
12oz frozen broccoli
1c chunky salsa
Optional: .5c sour cream, .5c shredded cheese.
Also optional: salt, garlic powder, and cumin to taste (to season the rice)
Cook the rice in one pot (with the seasoning if you want to). Put the frozen broccoli, drained beans, and salsa in another pot and bring to a boil. When the rice is done and the bean broccoli salsa stuff is hot, mix the rice into the beans (if adding cheese or sour cream, stir into the beans before adding the rice).
Now you have a food. It's got protein and carbs and fiber and a vegetable (and fat if you add the cheese and sour cream).
The amount described above is a lot. You can portion half of it into single servings to freeze and still have like four meals.
It's not the kind of thing I'd serve to anyone else, but it's a better option than eating instant oatmeal for dinner for another week.

yeah strongly agree this is a phenomenal way to automate the main labor of Finding Deals. shit goes on insane sale all the time when someone runs out of warehouse space or ordered too much crap or whatever and unless you are actively looking for it at that exact time you wont see it. Amazon also simply lies to you about "sorting by price" on their main UI and also does not consistently retrieve or show actual search results so IF THIS WORKS its potentially huge for overpriced dropship crap someone is charging you $20 for because they're a middleman
