Additional context for everyone else, which I also give in the story notes: Candi is the player character in my current BG3 run, which is subtitled "murder girlfriends." She started the game as an insufferably upright Oath of Devotion paladin who, after sparing Minthara's life at the Grove and saving/recruiting her at Moonrise, became gradually seduced by Minthara's rhetoric of vengeance and power-hunger. At the point this story takes place she has broken her Oath, and she and Minthara, Evil Paladin Power Couple, are planning to wield the stones themselves and dominate the nether brain together for personal gain. I'm sure being joint dictators will work out great for them and they will live happily ever after. 😈 ENJOYYYYYYY
