What better way to start off Pride month than to help a broke trans kid start moving towards becoming a therapist specializing in queer issues?
For those of you who donât know me well, hi! Iâm Carter. Iâm mentally and physically disabled, and I had to drop out of school back in 2014 because my abusive partner at the time figured out how to twist my dysphoria and mental health issues to send me into a mental breakdown.
Since then, Iâve been fighting severe mental and physical health problems, as well as medically transitioning. With the progress Iâve made I finally think Iâm in a place where I could finish my degree online and take my first steps towards becoming a therapist.
The problem? I donât have a computer, meaning I canât even work on an application, much less take online classes. In fact, because of some billing mixups, I donât even have enough for my grocery budget.
