Nepenthe
(n.) something that makes you forget grief or suffering.
Pairing: Týr x Goddess!Reader
Warnings: SPOILERS!!!, some angst, comfort with fluff, we love a caring Týr, implied depression, attempt at humor, Heimdall is an asshole, reader is the Greek Goddess of Time and Remembrance, mentions of incest, sweet moment with Kratos because he needs it.
Author’s Note: I just really wanted to write Týr cause I love this peaceful god, he deserved so much more. Also yeah, Kratos and reader are family, well… As much as the Greek pantheon can be called a family, because it’s all a fucking mess.
This oneshot is very long, I didn’t know how long it was until I saw the word count. I am impressed with myself.
I constantly think of my mistake, a mistake that looked so innocent at first view one would laugh if they weren’t in my place, trapped in a prison with no chance of ever escaping, and missing laying on the grass feeling the rain on my skin, the freezing snow, or the sun rays that once brought me warmth. Now… Now those memories are a curse in my mind, perhaps years have passed since I stepped into this realm looking for shelter, and my worries went to Kratos. Had he survived Zeus? There’s only a small chance we even stumbled into the same land.
