So, I was reading Melting Point... Came here just to point out that the main couple is just reincarnated Hualian.
What do you mean Ian has a tattoo dedicated to Eunsan on his body?
What do you mean Ian is the younger obsessed one who is ready to love Eunsan without Eunsan reciprocating his feelings ever?
Bye
I will wait 800 years, kill 33 gods and burn all their temples because they dared to insult you, build thousand statues of you, sacrifice myself and die 3 times for you, rewrite fate if I have to... But you're not nerdy enough to understand!
It has been a long time since I have read the TGCF novel, can someone jog my memory regarding the namesake of Calamity He Xuan?
Was he referred to as the "Ship-sinking Black Water" because he was responsible for drowning the ships of the merchants who were Shi Wudu's followers?
One of Binghe's most prominent characteristics in the pre-Abyss arcs was his kindness.
Since Bingmei didn't walk down the same path as Bingge, especially after Xin Mo was sealed to prevent it from corroding his mind any further, do you think those kind and soft parts of him slowly started restoring?
By kindness I don't mean the kindness and mercy that is only reserved for his Shizun and the people Shizun cares about, but genuine kindness.
Just imagine Bingmei on a mission finding an injured helpless beast and immediately going, "Must take it home so that Shizun can heal it, Shizun loves these filthy beasts."
He keeps on convincing himself that he is doing all these small altruistic works in order to get into Shizun's good book but in reality it's just his own kindness peeking out.
Shen Yuan knows this and just lets Binghe continue to use him as the scapegoat because he is happy to see his little sheep finally being able to be his true self under all those big titles and scary image, even if it takes up a whole lot excuses.

For some people who are confused on how Lan Jingyi grew up to be so unfiltered, free spirited and mischievous unlike the other Lan clan members, here is the reason.
It was because it Lan Zhan who was changing the sect and the norms for the better. There is a reason why Wei Wuxian is called Lan Zhan's freedom.
Wei Wuxian taught Lan Zhan how to take stand for himself and how dangerous it is to follow rules blindly and silently. Wei Wuxian taught Lan Zhan how to question, and also how to rebel against the wrong.
Moreover, the Clan war taught Lan Zhan the price you pay for keeping quiet and putting up for too long.
Lan Zhan took those learnings and cultivated those principles in his disciples.
Though Lan Shizui was soft spoken and polite, he knew when to take stand for himself and for the people he loved.
It takes a spark to start a fire. Lan Zhan's efforts not only influenced his own disciples but also the disciples of other sects.
This is why the disciples fearlessly started raising their voices against the stubborn elders who were driven by herd mentality, rumors and spite. They had a voice of their own... something that Lan Zhan gained only after tolerating and losing a lot.
Lan Zhan was raising a generation that was harder to indoctrinate and suppress.
The weakening of the Lan Clan's core principles and the disciples owning their own voices was a subtle commentary on the weakening of the authoritarian regime prevalent in the previous generations of all the clans.
Thus, Jingyi symbolises the changes brought in by Lan Zhan's efforts.
How am I supposed to explain my friends who are not that much into asian pop-culture, especially the non-Danmei ones, that my favourite ship name is "CumPlane" as it is a di*k joke that has been derived from two names "Peerless Cucumber" (a di*k joke again) and "Airplane Shooting Towards the Sky" (a masturbation joke)...
How am I supposed to explain them that I am not a freak!?
Women will always be blamed and hated upon pointlessly, no matter where, how or when... even if it's a fiction and the women being mentioned here is a female dragon.
People really blame White Fury for breaking Hiccup and Toothless' bond!!??
First of all where are these people even watching the franchise?...did we watch the same show??...coz the franchise I watched nothing like "breaking Hiccup and Toothless' bond" ever happened!
Hiccup and Toothless had to let go of eachother for the betterment and safety of the Dragon kind!
That's one of the major takeaways from the 3rd movie...the world is not a safe place for those amazing, intelligent, gentle beasts!!
If you have to blame somebody... Blame Grimmel... Blame Drago... Blame human greed and insatiable thirst for power and control!!!
Where is the light fury blame even coming from??
Yes I agree that she was not kind or trustful towards Hiccup in the beginning...but what was she supposed to do???
All her life she has known humans to be cruel and dangerous!!
Human even hunted their kind to extinction... But she still came around when she finally witnessed Hiccup's kindness and love for Toothless.
It was Hiccup's descision to let go of Toothless. It was his descision to let themselves walk seperately and flourish in their own worlds...safely.
They are still friends, they still love each other...
Tell me after going through everything I blabbered in the first few paragraphs, why do you think light fury should be blamed???... What is the basis of this hatred???
Misogyny really transcends everything.
And before anybody comes running to me, commenting, "You are reading too much into the situation"... Believe me, I am not.
Light fury is blamed for the same reason many other female characters are blamed and hated upon pointlessly.
There was a famous tale of a Calamity and a God's exchanged fate. A tale like that was what inspired Shang Qinghua to write. He wrote many high literary stuffs early on in his writing career but nothing gained traction. He was a child of divorced and negligent parents. He was drowning in debt and had tuition fees to pay for his Business degree. He took up several part-time jobs but they weren't enough. So, he put his writing skill to work and started writing a trashy stallion novel with a whole lot of fan service. In order to earn consistently, he had to pump out 10000 words daily and in the process lost his passion for writing. He was always overworked and exhausted from his part-time jobs and studies.
He was never a sound sleeper and used to frequently dream of a person with a scathing tongue but tender touches and loving head-pats. The person's face used to be always covered by a fan and the person sometimes referred to him as 'didi'.
There was this another person who he dreamt frequently about. The person had pin straight hair and was always dressed in black. He had a sense that both these people were someone really close to him.
However, after waking up he used to feel a strong sense of betrayal from both of those people.
Unable to figure out the answer to the dream, he created a character very similar to the person with the fan. The character turned out to be the Scum Villain of his stallion novel. He had a love-hate relationship with this character. He had originally created a heart-wrenching backstory for the character and even planned for a redemption arc in his orginal draft but unfortunately he ended up losing that orginal draft. In the new one he chose to cut short on more character driven plots as it bored the readers, thus the character ended up as a reduced one-dimensional villain.
He also ended up basing another character on the other person that frequently appeared in his dreams. This person in his dream always wore black, acted distant but time to time Qinghua could feel the caring glances and loving touches from the person. Yet, when he woke up from those kinds of dreams he used to feel suffocated by an unknown pain. Coincidentally, the character Qinghua created based on this mysterious person ended up as the spitting image of Qinghua's ideal type.
As the writer himself, he used to still find himself fan-boying over this character who was also a powerful ice-demon. The ice-demon was stoic, powerful, brave and everything Qinghua imagined he himself could never be. Being greedy, Qinghua ended up adding his self-insert in the story who was also the ice-demons lackey and spy.
But, mysterious painful feelings convinced Qinghua that he was not deserving of being close to the ice-demon, so he ended up making his self-insert betray the ice-demon. He even went ahead and made the ice-demon kill his self-insert off-screen.
After transmigrating into the PIDW world, Qinghua was so busy surviving he almost forgot about these details. Moreover, he also stopped having those strange dreams in this world.
As he lay comfortably on his King's chest in their private chamber in the Northern Palace, Qinghua suddenly bursts out, "My King, do you think we have met before?... Like in another lifetime, in another world?"
Mobei Jun silently looks at him with a confused stare.
"Oh, nevermind... My mind was just wandering..." Qinghua huffed.
Mobei Jun did not respond as he just hugged Qinghua tighter and then softly whispered, "Sleep".
When Mobei Jun heard his Qinghua's soft snores, he placed him beside him and nuzzled his face in the crook of Qinghua's neck. As he played with Qinghua's soft curls, he gingerly muttered, "Two lifetimes, Shi Qingxuan...it took two lifetimes for us to be finally together... I lost you once and was foolishly going to lose you again..."
I really love the fact that the Emperor probably prefers busty, heavy-chested, tall women because all his life he has been disgusted by his father's (previous emperor's) preference for young kids.

Since MXTX has a knack for writing dead-beat fathers I won't be surprised if Pei Ming fathered Hua Cheng and somehow Hua Cheng's mother went out of radar, especially because she was married to another man.
My man Xie Lian has a type, he loves beautiful men and there are exactly 2 men in the series he has called handsome.
It would be so funny if MXTX was planning on writing Tianlang Jun and Binghe dynamic for the 2nd time, with Pei Xu as equivalent to Zhuzhi Lang and then decided otherwise.
Edit:
Just look at these absolutely gorgeous specimens!
Additionally, this could also be the reason why little Honger was so unwelcomed in his family.
What if fate is actually unchangeable?
What if the exchange of fate between Shi Qingxuan and He Xuan was written in fate?
What if the down fall of Shi Wudu in the hands of He Xuan was fate?
What if the fall of Woyoung and Xianle was written in fate?
What if Hua Cheng losing and finding Xie Lian only after 800 years was written in fate?
They may be Gods in the universe but the Creator of the universe is somebody else... Somebody who had already decided their fate. No matter how powerful they were, their fate was fixed from the very beginning. They just played a role in the domino effect.
What if Beefleaf breaking up was for nothing?
What if....
Just thinking about how much Su Xiyan's survival would have changed Binghe's fate and also the fate of the PIDW world for the better.
She could have taken over Huan Hua Palace, freed Tianlang Jun, raised Binghe to be a happy child and united the Demon and Human Realm far earlier than it was supposed to.
I believe Su Xiyan would have been completely capable of doing all this on her own.
Tell me she won't become bestfriends with Shen Jiu the moment she appears at the Strategic Peak seeking alliance?
And being close with Shen Jiu implies having the Sect Leader of Cang Qiong at your disposal.
She would have formed a strong alliance between Cang Qiong to bring down that pervert palace master.
Zhao Hua Monastery would be the first to follow the alliance with Wu Chen's alibi and all the remaining sects would automatically follow on their own accord after both Zhao Hua and Cang Qiong have pledged alligence to Su Xiyan. After that she would have taken over Huan Hua palace, freed Tianlang Jun and then strategically established peace between the realms.
Binghe would have been the symbol of peace and the proof of the Palace masters degeneracy.
The battle, I would hope, lead Yue Qingyuan to withdraw his sword which would lead Shen Jiu finding out the truth. And after that if Shen Jiu happens to adopt a little brat named Shen Yuan he found on the streets, it would be a win-win situation for all.
Also... also... if Cang Qiong sends a certain squeaky peak lord to the Northern Kingdom as a delegate after the peace treaty, you know what is going to happen.
Public announcement for some of y'all idiots!
Just because the story and the author is trashy that doesn't imply that the protagonist is too.
He is the best damn written character I have ever read about!
It's all the fault of that DAMN HACK AUTHOR for ruining the plot!!!
Nothing like this would have happened if that DumbFuck Airplane was hughed as a child!
Airplane... When I come for you Airplane....
I need to let this out!
The parallels and tragedy between FengLian and JunMei always make my heart ache.
Both Feng Xin and Mei Nianqing stayed behind with their prince and bestfriend even when others left.
They didn't want to abandon their bestfriend.
People blame Feng Xin for idolising Xie Lian too much and giving him hard time for his crashout, but people forget he himself was a kid too. He was crashing out too. He was witnessing his bestfriend go through immense pain and he didn't know what to do. He wanted to protect Xie Lian even it was from Xie Lian himself, and blamed himself when he was unable to do so. Feng Xin has always been emotionally straightforward. It was difficult for him to adjust to Xie Lian's behaviourial changes (which were very apt). Changes are hard and it becomes even harder when someone you knew all your life is changing. Feng Xin is loyal to a fault, no doubt he would have supported Xie Lian in the future even if Xie Lian walked down the wrong path. He just needed time to adjust. Both of them were kids, they both needed time and space to come around each other again. But, time and space is what they didn't have. Xie Lian feared being the bearer of Feng Xin's possible future resentment. He didn't want his bestfriend to hate and blame him so he did what he thought was the best... Push him away and Feng Xin's loyalty forced him to oblige to Xie Lian's wishes even though he knew it was a wrong decision. Broken friendships hurt worse than breakup.
JunMei experienced what Xie Lian feared would have become of him and Feng Xin. Mei Nianqing stayed behind to witness his bestfriend's real downfall. He witnessed their friendship being torn apart by betrayal and resentment. Jun Wu in the end betrayed the one person who stuck with him. Why do you think Jun Wu let Mei Nianqing live even after all those years. I know he is horrendous and had lost all his sense and reason, but tell me deep down he didn't grieve and regret his actions just like Mei Nianqing regretted abandoning him? Mei Nianqing just like Feng Xin would have also followed Jun Wu to the bitter end, if he was unable to protect him from himself and the world... But what he needed was time to grasp the situation. They direly needed the time they didn't have. Maybe both of them throughout their long lives were stuck on the "Maybe and what could have been"...

I have a type in men and the type is "absolute losers when in love"β Tianlang Jun, Jinshi, Miyamura, Mu Sheng, Choi Seunghyo, Ha Yichan, Iseop, Chika Kudo, Hirotaka... My goodness the list just goes on...
Qi Rong being Xie Lian's no. 1 hater and then Hua Cheng being Qi Rong's no. 1 hater... It all comes to a full circle!
