Post Montreal Club horror, Rose convinces Shane to come out to his team. A kinder coming out, though by no means drama free.

After I badgered my brother into reading 'Role Model' (he loved it, naturally), he told me how grateful he was to have a family like Harris. Even though I love 'The Long Game', I often find myself thinking about what could've happened if Shane had been able to ease into his coming out. Which is where I got this idea.
What if Rose convinces Shane to come to out to his team in the days after his confession to her? It probably doesn't go well. At least not at first. After the horrors of the club in Montreal, before the 2017 All-Star game, Shane and Rose make a plan for Shane to come out to his team and his loved ones. Things do not go to plan. But then Shane's friends and family, and eventually Ilya Rozanov, come together to make sure Shane has full control of how and when he comes out. Some hurt and yearning. Some stupidity. But ultimately a HEA.
Note that some AU's of Shane's coming out have graphic homophobic language. This fic does not. It's implied. There's absolutely some homophobia. But I see no need to use hurtful language to communicate an experience too many have had.
Mix of TV and book canon cos I need that secret condo!
