Chapter 3. Raven

A few hours later. Food 'n' Fix.

Wade was tuning the bike, putting the finishing touches on it.

"Here, Danger Dude. Your bike is all done!" - Wade said, standing up.

After a few seconds, from a shadows, a tall figure appears:

Black helm with red stripe on a middle, black leather coat and boots, dark blue jeans, light grey top. He had a multiple scars on a face, neck and right arm. His left arm been replaced to a prosthesis, made of Gibble's stolen blueprints.

It was Kick Buttowski. He's alive and been managed to survive this fall. Wade saved him after this incident.

"Wow, Wade! Raven is so much awesomer as never before! Thanks, buddy! You're truly a very great mechanic!" - Kick said, coming closer to his bike, patting Wade's left shoulder.

"It's nothing, amigo! At least you won't be that loud as before!" - Wade replied, smiling. He loves his job.

"Huh! You're right. I almost screwed up, when this monster was roaring as a prehistoric dinosaur. These freaking Gordon's drones almost got me, but not for today!" - Kick said, looking at his bike.

"With this, you'll be a very shady and a silent ninja, Danger Dude! Guaranteed!" - Wade said, taking 2 cans of Cheetah Chug, handing one to Kick.

"Absolutely. Tomorrow, this beast will beat those drones up. I... still worried that Gunther is all alone out there... What if he already forgot me...?" - Kick replied, taking an energetic, slowly drinking it.

"I'm sure the North Amigo is searching for an answers. Searching for you." - Wade said, patting Kick's right shoulder, calming him.

"Thanks Wade. I'm getting better now... Let's hope he won't get in any troubles, trying to find me" - Kick replied, taking another sip from the energetic drink.

"Absolutely agreed with you, Danger Dude!" - Wade said, nodding to him.

After this talk, Kick went on small training. He needed that before the tomorrow's day...

Chapter 2. The Dark City

18 years later... The city changed - full of futuristic neon towers. Gordon's robo-drones were patrolling the street - they making sure the citizens were following the protocol and the laws.

From a high tower, on the top floor, there was Gordon Gibble, wearing black coat with bright pink letter "G" on its back, looking down.

His world is perfect.

He turned around. A blonde woman was standing nearby - it was Kendall Perkins. She is a double agent - Gordon's right hand and a leader of Resistance Team. Kendall was holding a tablet with important blanks to discuss.

"Kendall, what you have there?" - Gordon asked, getting closer.

"An important documents, boss. Reports of rebel's attempts to create sabotage against you." - Kendall replied.

"Again those rebels..." - Gordon said, turning back to window.

"Any orders of what to do to them?" - Kendall asked.

"I'll take care of this, Perkins. Get back to work" - Gordon replied.

"Yes, boss. On my way..." - Kendall said, returning to her office.

Kendall have walked in a dark hall, holding her pass key, getting closer to the door of her office.

After, when she opened up and closed the door, she placed her tablet on a desk, sitting down on a chair. Making sure nobody is watching, Kendall turned her video call. She's calling Gunther.

This blonde viking changed too - he turned into a muscle berserk. His left eye covered with a scar - mark after attempting to attack Gordon in an attempt to avenge Kick.

"Gunther! Gunther! This is Kendall!" - Kendall said. A on his laptop's screen turned on in his room.

"I hear you, Kendall. What's your report?" - Gunther asked.

"Gordon still believes that your friend is dead. I'm trying my best to find any clues, but his drones are everywhere" - Kendall replied, writing something down on her notebook.

"So, what's the plan? I searched Dead Man's Drop many times. Kick's body isn't there. He probably was buried already..." - Gunther said.

"Then we'll search the places where Kick might be. Maybe he's not dead! He's probably hiding somewhere!" - Kendall replied.

"Kendall! You don't understand! My eyes saw him falling! Eighteen damn years ago! He cannot just revive and run wherever his eyes look!" - Gunther yelled, slamming his table

"Gunther, please remain calm. We will find him together. He's the Daredevil, he've been in trouble way worse than this. He broke many bones, but always getting up and kept going forward. This is impossible that he just gave up because of Gordon. I refuse to believe on his death either..." - Kendall said, calming the viking down.

"Kendall... Promise me that you'll find him..." - Gunther said, looking at her from his screen

"We will find him. I'll promise you that" - Kendall replied, smiling a bit.

"Thank you, Perkins. It means a lot. Over and out" - Gunther said, smiling too.

"Over and out, pal. I'll meet you at the backyard "Battlesnax" soon" - Kendall replied, turning the call off.

Gunther turning off his laptop. He glanced out the window of his room. The hope of finding his friend flared again. He wouldn't leave Kick alone...

"Don't worry, Kick... We will find you. No matter what the cost... We're on our way..." - Gunther mumbled, getting closer to window, looking at the dark cloudy sky. The Moon barely peeks out, dimly illuminating the roof of the Magnuson's house.

Chapter 1. Before the Dark Times

Mellowbrook 2012. Dead Man's Drop Hill. Kick was about to make yet another stunt, using his "Ol' Blue" skateboard. His friend, Gunther, was nearby, holding a stopwatch and a camera. He's still worried about Kick, even if he's already conquered this hill before, when Brad tried to stop him. This little Daredevil was ready like never before. He's very confident.

"Kick, are you sure?" - Gunther asked, looking at the sky. It is cloudy - "Today's weather isn't good for this, you may get hurt! Let's move this for tomorrow!"

"Hurt? Gunther, I've got hurt many times, and the weather won't stop me for today. Now or never!" - Kick replied, adjusting his helmet - "I've conquered this before and I'll do it again!"

"If you say so..." - Gunther sighed, getting ready to record the time.

Kick's eyes were shining, getting ready to jump as well, ready to yell his "Chimichanga!".

A lightning strikes. Right behind him, hiding in a bushes, was Gordon Gibble with his two bodyguards Michael Anthony and Anthony Michael - DiPazzi twins. He's prepared a trap for Kick. Gordon was furious. This Daredevil always wins him. Gordon now think that it's time to get rid of his rival and build his own Empire.

Gordon's plan was perfect:

- Plant explosives on the way.

- Activate it and embarrass Kick by making it all look like an accident.

He is out of his mind.

At this time Kick was about to ride down.

"Kick! Think twice! The thunderstorm is incoming! It's dangerous!" - Gunther yelled, begging his friend to stop.

"Gunther, Danger is my second name!" - Kick replied, ignoring the incoming rain drops - "CHIMICHANGA!"

Kick rolls down on the mud hill at high speed, dodging dead trees and rocks. Gunther records his stunt, worried even more.

When Kick reaches the mined spot, one of the Gordon's bodyguard was holding the red button, ready to press on it.

"Press it! Press it now!" - Gordon yelled, giving an order.

One bodyguard pressed the button.

And explosion was heard - the way was torn apart.

"What the-!? The sabotage!" - Kick yelled, trying to stop, but the mud and high speed not letting him to do it. His skateboard slipped and he rolled head over heels down, grabbing onto a ledge of stone.

The massive smoke covered the area, a huge boulders were falling down. One almost hit Kick.

The Daredevil noticed that his hand is getting slippery because of the rain, trying to hold any longer, but he didn't. He fell.

"KICK!!!" - Gunther yelled, seeing this horrific picture.

There was dead silence after.

"HA-HA-HA-HA! Take that, Buttowski!" - Gordon laughed, running away to avoid being seen.

Gunther, screaming, rushed down to where boulders crashed. He tried to pick the up, but they were too heavy for him. Gunther, losing hope and strength, started to cry, not believing that he lost his best friend, hitting the rock with his hand...

The Mellowbrook's Daredevil was defeated...

I can finally continue my AU!
