Okay so I understand with the implications of Jax’s gender throughout the mindscape and such, we are meant to believe she is transfem right? That’s great, but we need to stop acting like he hasn’t presented as male to the audience (and the cast) for the majority of the show, therefore his actions towards Ragatha, Gangle, and the other women were rooted in the patriarchy. SHE might not benefit from it now, but HE did. We cannot excuse the idea that violence against women basically went unaccounted for because “oh well she was trans the whole time so it’s fine!” Being trans isn’t an excuse to abuse people. And suicide isn’t a consequence, it’s kind of an easy way out, especially looking at how the entire cast MOURNS HER after all Jax has done to them.
