Not my best work but I had some though days, so I did my best to distract myself. I might try depict him again since I'm not fully satisfied.

Small blog announcement
I've noticed engagement with this blog dwindel after leaving the main Roleplay Community on this Site due to drama with friends and unforseen circumstances.
I don't intend on killing this blog. I don't want to and I probably won't unless it absolutely completely utterly dies.
All this to say! Ask me stuff! Now that I'm no longer associated with the mainline group of roleplayers, I'll make an official pinned post for this blog as a guideline and rules.
Hopefully I won't be going anywhere anytime soon so feel free to interact with me as you see fit. Thanks for reading my nonsense post!
I'm not sure if I should tag Prophet (Bryn's wife, my OC) in the pinned post only because I know theres a lot of selfshippers for Brynjolf and it seem kinda inconsiderate. So as a last order of business for those who care:
Should | tag Prophets Blog in the pinned post?
No, keep your OC spouse out of this.
Sure, but keep her out of any interblog activities, this is a BRYN blog
Sure, and unless its a shipping post, she should be allowed to interact

I have a manbun. I'm a manbum with a manbun. Hell yeah
[An average looking Imperial man, in very old imperial armor comes up to you] Iāve heard youāre the person to find if you want to sell mildly illegal things⦠( @general-uriel-legatus )
"Depends on who's asking lad..."
He eyes the armor suspiciously. He knew better then to reveal his trade to any old man who came knocking.
"To the law I'm just a crazy ginger potion seller."
Iām a forty-four year old man, donāt call me lad.
Thereās something I want to get rid of, something that I canāt legally sell. [He holds it up, itās an intricate amulet, a gold dragon curled around a small ruby, the amulet is recognizable, the type that was handed out by the Septim Emperorās to notable people, mostly generals, occasionally historians and mages recieved it, and those who did wouldāve been buried with it. Even Uriel VII with his long reign only gave out fifteen. Since they havenāt been made since his death, the genuine article is a collectors item- very illegal to sell though]
As much as this is valued I want to get rid of it moreā¦
"Now where on Nirn did you get THAT?"
Brynjolf leaned over the edge of his stall, admittedly, more curious for his historical reasons, then money. That said it wouldnāt be the first time something from the hierarchy of the Empire had passed through the guild. Delvin had once suspiciously got in his grubby little paws an amulet from the Elder Council. Brynjolf couldnāt remember how much he bought it for though- although there was fair certainty that this was worth more than some snobby old Nobleās necklace.
"Hm. Sure, I'll buy it. I already assume that you know what this is worth, so name your price."
I- you donāt want to make sure itās real first? [the man stares at him]
"Please. Most people don't even know these exist, let alone to fake it. Besides. If the gem was glass the gem would be a lot more overly colored and uniform, and if the gold was counterfeit it would be more shiny. Real gold is actually less lustrous."
He grinned and leaned onto an palm, holding his chin up with a hand.
"In my line if work you got to be able to tell if something is worth anything from a glance. Even if its not real it's definitely worth a pretty penny- or to get stashed away in a vault."
Ah I see, Iām not familiar with this sort of thing⦠hmm two thousand gold, Iām pretty sure thatās well below its value, but I want no reminders of that part of my past.
Brynjolf shrugged, containing his surprise for the price. He knew better then to gasp or show any form of shock.
"Aye. I can do that."
He agreed simply, reaching down into his lockbox to grab the allotted money.
[Hands over the medallion, like a legitimate copy does it has the name of the recipient etched on the back, āUriel | for excellent service to the empire.ā]
[his armor, now catches the eye, itās old, yes that much was obvious, the style was at least two centuries out of date, however the armor was in pristine condition.]
Brynjolf raised an eyebrow and looked over thr medallion, sliding over the coin in a bag.
"Huh. This your name then?"
He raised an eyebrow.
That is what is on my birth certificate, and my death certificate no doubt. But it is Uriel Legatus.
"Interesting. You're a lot older then 40 then."
Brynjolf chuckled.
"Less there's another explanation here at play."
I died at forty-four and then I came back⦠that makes me forty-four
"Eh. I've definitely heard weirder."
Shrugs.

Delvin looks like a thug in Gotham who would shout:
"Lookout boss! It's da Bat!!"
I guess that makes me Catwoman the way I rizz up the main character like that. Isn't that right Batsy
