Talk about the furies
[Lore and/or muse Qs]
[The Furies consist of some of my older-somewhat older OCs (as in how long they've been OCs), Tobey being one of my oldest OCs around. (she's been through some cosmetic changes, even). The newest, creation-wise, is Aphrodite. (Two of the 4 Furies are from my long, never-ending B.orderl.ands era. Tobey's older than that.)
(Now with that bit out of the way.)
Tobey, growing up, really wanted to join the army (I created her during my weird camo era, I was 14). She thought joining meant she'd get a tank. Having briefly been in it once she hit adulthood, she realized she was wrong. She's a pretty cool person, though. Yes, she likes explosives, but she's chill. And sarcastic. She gets herself into trouble a lot with authority figures, even, just by sassing them (and clearly that's not an attitude that passes in the military). She doesn't have a real connection with Horizons like the rest of the Furies, however. (As far as I've gotten, at least. And how she meets the others is still in the air.)
Maddie has studied and trained herself more in precision (she was my sniper OC for B.L). Growing up, she took ballet, so she has balance. She had to finagle her way to getting a sniper, herself. She somehow knows Vincent has taken her brother, Chase, as part of his secret underground program. And while she's angry and desperately wants to save her brother, her approach is to be calculated
Aphrodite is a barkeep with her own bar. She had formerly done strip club work as a means to earn money (where her nick-name comes from), and she got enough so she was able to get her own bar. Her place serves as the hub for the Furies. It may be that Vincent had visited her in her club days. A rich patron means big tips, but they also tend to be yikes type people. Aphro saw Maddie as a frequent customer in her bar (yet to be named, having a time with names), and they built a friendship (and maybe more). Aphro has a good head on her shoulders, she tries to look at things with an open mind, and she can be a good listener. But she won't take any shit.
Aphro will be the judge on if someone's had too much. Tobey and Maddie would be the ones to help eject particularly bad customers. These ladies decided together that they would do what they can to protect people that needed help, and, if necessary, deal out a punishment of sorts to help said people, especially when no one else would do it.
One of those times of helping those in need came to them finding Lalu, who seemed to be confused about anything that's going on. She didn't know why she was where she was. The Furies took her in, giving her a home, a safe space, and a new name, because she had forgotten her old one. She chose her new name. And she also had a dormant, forgotten, skill set that shows up like second nature to her, dealing with technology in general and techno-biological prosthetics and attachments. Lalu is sweet, and a bit naive due to huge memory loss. She likes to help Aphro serve customers, and given the circumstances, its the safest job she could have.]
