The "supportive" parents of trans kids looooove having "reasonable concerns" (small scale localised conversion therapy efforts) that they eventually give up on and rebrand themselves as always having been accepting

you can explain the material things that could be done to make trans women's lives easier, and someone who thinks misandry is real will show up like "that pales in effectiveness to my strategy, abolishing gender". and then they wont abolish gender

fandoms are full of people who are like those extended family members who are never outright saying slurs because they are too "nice" for that so they instead are saying everything but. and if you ever point out how shitty they are being everyone thinks you are starting something.

this is why terfs have a foothold in so many fandoms on this site btw. people dont even knw what to look out for with terfs, because you dont understand transmisogyny, so you cant even kick them out if you wanted to. with this sites history as being a big fandom space, its no wonder it has such a transmisogyny problem.

honestly its kind of impressive how successful the rebrand from "trap" to "femboy" that so many people, even a lot of trans women, buy into the idea that they carry different connotations, even though they are used by the same people in the same way. like they explicitly replaced "anything that makes my dick hard is a woman, faggot" with shit like "boys make the best girls because boys know what boys like" but still claim trap and femboy mean different things. both of those phrases are about the idea that feminine men are like women in that you can have sex with them because women are for sex, but they arent trannies though, and we're all supposed to act like this is any different than before. the transmisogyny is still there and still obvious. but they use a slightly less obviously mean word so we have to pretend its fine now even when they keep making the same "this person you thought was an attractive girl actually has a penis" jokes.

seeing stuff abot that blue girl sucks. She says trans men suck and then 1000000000000 people show up to call her a pathetic freak monster and run her off the internet. And every post about her has multiple comments calling her a man. But yes we need to protect the poor little trans men from that horrible male monster. If you think she did anything wrong you need to kill yourself for real its the only moral option
