Amaury Guichon in the brass section is gradually eating away at their instrument; Amaury Guichon on the stage is dancing through the floor as it melts; the throngs smile and nod approvingly at marble cake tables with brushed toffee lacquer.

Everyone looks familiar, its the usual crowd after all. But the air is electric as shaved chocolate streamers flutter and thr hard-boiled chandlier chatters to the beats.

Its overwhelming. You push through the crowds to the bar. The bartender, Amaury Guichon, mixes you an Irish Coffee Espresso Martini Tiramisu in a spun sugar glass.

Takes his signature bite out the side.

You smile and nod approvingly.

I have many reasons why I will not use those tools, going from lack of accuracy, lack of ethics, and a higher waste of energy.

But my main reason is this:

I will do things the hard way. I will learn how to do things the hard way.

Because AI is a subscription. And when the world is dependant on AI, they will raise the price of that subscription.

And when the company I work for decides that paying for AI is too expensive for their bottom line, they will remove it.

Democrat politicians use love and acceptance to disguise their hatred and lust for power and wealth. Republican politicians use how awful Democrat politicians are to mask their own immorality and perversion. Local politics actually get things done but getting involved in local politics is nearly impossible because you have to facebook stalk everyone and follow 5 different newspapers to understand anything. The best third-party option, Libertarians, are so fractured within that they're a joke. None of the other parties have enough traction to get votes to win and don't get enough signatures to get on the ballots in some places.

I know plenty of people are okay voting for the 'lesser' of the two evils, whichever that may be in your mind. I used to be that. I voted for Trump in 2020, since I didn't want Biden to win and viewed Trump as a lesser evil. I used to vote Republican if there wasn't a Libertarian on the ballot. I am no longer okay voting for the lesser of the two evils, especially since I no longer believe there is a lesser evil. They're both evil, just in different directions, and I am no longer okay siding with either.

I'll probably change my opinion again later on in life, and that's okay. But for now, at least, I don't want to vote. Not because I don't want a say in how the government is run, but because I genuinely don't get a say that is in line with my conscious. Both Republican and Democrat politicians sacrifice people on the alter of power and wealth and I cannot accept either.
