Does Some Part of You Remember This Like I Do

I want to write about my life but I can't remember what I've written about on here. I want. To date someone. Or hook up with someone. Or to feel passion. But I won't because it's expensive and I don't have the spoons and almost everyone is kind of awful. Maybe I'll just think really hard about the end of season 20 taskmaster where Greg and Alex hold each other and jump up and down.

One thing about the culture being in an anti tech swing is that I remember the last one. I remember in the 90s when it was totally hip for counter culture 20 and 30 year olds to abstain completely from using the internet. I remember the disgust and contempt at digital photography (especially in comparison with film). I remember the wildly exaggerated stranger danger perception that making friends online would get you murdered by serial killers. I remember people believing a lot of stuff that wasn't true because they were scared.

It's a sign of a healthy community when people are allowed to talk about their conflicting values. Even if people are getting emotional and dunking on each other, that belies a greater level of trust than a community where people are too scared to disagree.
