Anyhoo, back to Jojolion: AHHHHH I LOVE EM! I LOVE EM LOTS AND LOTS!!! I *NEED* to draw the rest of the Higashikatas; currently I've only drawn the characters present here. Josuk8 is sooo fun to draw! As is Joshuu's stupid little face =D Also Hato looks adorbs, i love her<3
I just finished Jojolion (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 8)…
And Yasuho Hirose was my absolute favorite. 😭 Homegirl deserved better, but that finale really was tough. I hope she appears in Part 9 sometime soon (realistically a little cameo wouldn't hurt). A little update would be great. I also loved her relationship and chemistry with Josuke, her Stand was absolutely brilliant, and I feel like if she were a real person, we’d be friends. I’ll miss her.

Hey! Thank you 😊 I honestly winged it. I needed to work on a proper banner illustration (the last one was “ew!” to me, so I replaced it—for now—with one of the images I saved on my phone that came from this old art exhibit book called Saul Steinberg: Masquerade by Inge Morath. I’m a big fan. And I even bought the book! They’re cheaper on eBay.
Here are a few of the images that I got from a Facebook group. I do not own the images but a lot of the photos from the exhibit became available publicly somehow 🤷🏽♀️. You can search them up, and you’ll find even more (or just DM me).

Hello! Thank you for asking, and welcome to the community. Regarding your question, I came across an approach (x) that might help, though I’m not entirely sure if it applies to communities. What I do know is that catching up is probably your best option, especially since the group shares more than just analysis, rants, and panel recaps. People also post fan art and sh*tposts, which can include spoilers. There isn’t a spoiler tag in place because I’m not the first admin. I’m actually the third, and the original version of the community didn’t have a rule about spoilers.
Honestly, if you’re trying to stay completely spoiler-free, I’d recommend avoiding One Piece social media for the time being. And no need to apologize. Your question isn’t silly at all. Feel free to reach out anytime!

Theyve had a corrupt as hell government full of nepo babies which killed 19 people the other day (including unarmed children) during a protest and Gen Z was like "No we're gonna burn you mother fuckers down", they've burned down the presidential palace, the parliament, police offices, houses of politicians. Theres people chasing ministers down in the streets!
That last pic is of a dude who *defeated* a riot cop and STOLE HIS FUCKIN GEAR!! Theyre using the strawhats logo as a rallying symbol of rebellion just like in Indonesia

Honestly? My main piece of advice for writing well-rounded characters is to make them a little bit lame. No real living person is 100% cool and suave 100% of the time. Everyone's a little awkward sometimes, or gets too excited about something goofy, or has a silly fear, or laughs about stupid things. Being a bit of a loser is an incurable part of the human condition. Utilize that in your writing.
indonesia is not well at all. WE NEED YOUR HELP.
I'm indonesian and i'm hella proud about it, except for the fact that our current govt is corrupt as hell and don't care much about the citizens.
the govt members got really rich off of taxing their people. 60% of indonesians are poor without suitable and humane living conditions. the taxes are insanely high, not to mention what happened at raja ampat and papua too. they only want money for themselves while the poor get poorer and the beauty of this country is tarnished.
demonstrations are incited all over the country (not just in the capital). it was originally quite peaceful, but some policemen rammed over an online delivery service person (ojek online/ojol) and he died. gojek (the ojol service)'s workers thus did a mass demonstration as well.
it gets worse.
jakarta experienced a blackout as well as night shootings with snipers and intel members stationed at various spots including but not limited to universities, random corners of the streets, and demonstration groups. They have resorted to live ammo (NOT rubber bullets) and aim for the head.
People have died. People have been kidnapped. People have been threatened to get doxxed if they don't shut up. TikTok Live and Instagram is down. Mass media and news channels are told to not broadcast anything regarding this. Roads are blocked and universities have sent out warnings to the students to stay inside.
Even medics, journalists and indo-chinese have been brutalized for simply being there and doing their jobs. Spies have been implanted to provoke and incite anarchism to justify the use of force by the police and military. These spies have (provoked the mass to) burnt buildings and ransacked shops and houses and public facility.
All of this while the actual govt members are out on holidays to Singapore, Australia, China, and out of Indonesia, enjoy tone-deaf singing while being absolutely deaf to the citizen's voices and struggles.
Please.
This needs to stop.
