I have BPD but it’s well managed ❤️ I’m a psychology student aiming to be a child therapist . I like to cosplay on the side, and i occasionally sing at clubs and events for extra cash lol. I enjoy history, linguistics and cryptology in particular.

Growing up I was a child actor , in like .. a bunch of stuff. And I was also a model for most of my life. I quit when I was 17 , it kind of fucked me up lol but basically. I can act and sing.

I’m an ENJF 2w3 personality type, my highest kins are Kurapika , Monika , Ai Hoshino, Nico Robin and Hanako kun. I tend to be very responsible, I make straight A’s, I put a lot of effort into my appearance and presence. And I tend to mask a lot of my true emotions. I’ve had issues with being manipulative due to the way I was raised, I never feel comfortable asking for things I always feel like I have to “convince” people to do things for me. I’m very well liked among my peers, in high school I was student council president and homecoming queen. Despite this I only have 1-2 people I truly consider myself to be close with. I just can’t connect with people on an authentic level on my part. I’m very good at communication and reasoning, I think with my head and not my heart. I have struggles with being apathetic in that regards. I also grew up with a big inferiority complex, to combat that now I can be very headstrong and stubborn about what I want and what I believe in. Internally I am kind of judgemental of others, I have a very black and white sense of what is right and what is wrong. How people should and shouldn’t behave. I get annoyed by people with lots of energy, or just people in general. but I NEVER show my annoyance. I try my best to make others happy, and be there for people even if I don’t like them. I would never act cruelly towards another person, even if they like put a pipe bomb in my mailbox..

in a partner I like someone super intelligent and intuitive, someone who is logical like me but won’t push me away/freak out when I have episodes. Someone caring and genuine towards me. Preferably someone more quiet, but who won’t hesitate to defend me in conflict. Someone who will pay attention to me and spend time with me. I don’t like receiving gifts, my love language is quality time and words of affirmation. BUT PLEASE DEAR GOD I CANNOT TAKE THE STUPID SOCIALLY INEPT KIND OF QUIET GIYS OH MY GOD.

i was stuck between a few folks for you, but overall, armin takes the cake. he's highly intelligent and not just in the classroom, but he's very emotionally in touch.

in choosing to study psychology, and taking the work to become a child therapist (i give you all the credit in the world for that omg, that is literally incredible), you both have a thirst for knowledge and intellectual curiosity. also due to armin's just overall curiosity (and genuine care for you), he'd be an incredible listener, he'll listen to you talk about anything and everything and offer actual thoughtful and attentive responses, whether it be something like light like interests or it be something heavy if you're having a rough time.

though you seem usually reserved with your emotions, armin is very emotionally smart and could probably read you and connect with you, but of course, only following set boundaries. he's a respectful man and he's going to respect his lovely partner's wishes. he doesn't demand emotional vulnerability immediately, but he’s patient and steady enough to earn your trust. you like to lead, and he'll let you, he never threatens your autonomy, but gently insists on being there with you

you do not want the awkward, emotionally obtuse “quiet guy,” and Armin is far from that. He’s reflective and introverted, and uses quick thinking and logic, but that doesn't take away from the fact he communicates with clarity and care — a rare, perfect mix of empathy and intelligence.

as for your love languages, words of affirmation is where he excels, not in an over the top corny or cheesy prince charming from shrek way, but in reaffirmations in passing and simply telling you when he's though about you, or telling you how wonderful you are and how grateful he is for you. as quality time, he's attached to your hip as long as you'll let him be! you could be reading or working on two totally different things next to each other, but it doesn't matter, he gets to spend time with you. when you're overwhelmed from performance, be it academic, social, or literal, he’s your sanctuary. he creates a space where you can just exist, without needing to impress, and he's always so happy to.

I match you with Risotto Nero! I think he's a good match for you for a few reasons, given your attitude and personal description :) He's so the strong, silent type who would keep you grounded but still appreciate your energy and humor. He's level-headed and mature which can create good counter and grounds for some silly, one-sided banter with your teasing, even if he does enjoy it.

Additionally, based on your past, you probably need someone emotionally rational and patient in addition to mature, and I think Risotto definitely fits that bill. He'd always be respectful and silently looks after you, even if he isn't the most direct and straightforward about it. He'd take his time with the fact that your emotions can be a little all over at times, and that's ok! He also 100% okay with you taking your time with even just regular physical touch.

Even before you're together and he's developed a soft spot for you, he has a bit of a protective streak, even if its not publicly displayed. "Touch her and you die" but in sheer aura. He also lets you run your mouth as much as you want and though he won't contribute much, he's actually paying attention. He WILL remember what that bitch said.

Your love language for quality time is totally compatible (I headcanon he has the same one!) and even if its not his main love language he adores every gift or thing you show him that reminded you of you both, even with quiet simple thank yous, your gifts are displayed and whatever you've baked today is gone by the end of tomorrow. He does give you gifts to respect that aspect of your love language and he kind of underestimates himself with it.

Once you're both comfortable with each other physically, at his stature (6'1" and built like a goddamn TANK) he basically is default like a bodyguard, but if he needs to protect you (danger), he totally will, and fight tooth and nail. I also think he has a possessive streak, but as mentioned before, he's not as direct about it, its like his aura. He shows his care and protection with lots of check-ins, making sure you're taking care of yourself in and out of his presence.

For valentine's day, expect candles, wine, and a warm, cozy atmosphere—he makes sure it’s intimate, just for his girl.
